When Elsinore is found by the strange – and deliciously handsome – Devlin, her first thought really should have been one of self-preservation. Instead, even after whacking him in the face with a frying pan, she’s struck at how devilishly sexy he is. Devlin has come to take her away from her beloved home. He claims she’s royalty. If she dares to believe, she could finally find out why the forest calls to her. If he acts on his intense need for the delectable Ellie, Devlin will have a death sentence imposed on him. As granddaughter to the king of the Magical Forest, her virtue and her body are to be protected above anything else. As captain of the king’s guard, there could be no one more capable then Devin. But he hadn’t counted this woman being irresistible to him. No other woman ever had been… Until the Faery Princess.

This had the potential to be a really good book; however, it seems unfinished. The author only gave my a quick glimpse of Elsinore and Delvin. I didn't get to understand why Delvin had been resisting taking a mate. Also, Elisinore and Delvin get into bed the first time they meet. My next question is why is Delvin walking around completely naked in the human world. Do all faeries walk around naked? Okay, I know it's a short book, but I would like just a little more information. This is the first book I've read by this author.
It is not surprising that I love a good fairy tale. This one is no exception! It evolves a Faery named, Ellie, finding her mate and family. I enjoyed this short story!
