When lumber heiress Billie Shaughnessy goes to Eagle Bay to claim her fortune and bury her father, she finds an intriguing adversary in the Makah Chief Proud Eagle, whose claims against her father's company are eclipsed only by his claims on her heart. Original.

Very sweet story. Love that pets were mentioned and also seeing how the schooling came into play. If you've read an Edwards novel, then you know exactly how they all end.
Another great book by Miss Edwards. I do not want to put a spoiler in this review so I will not say much.
But I love the story and the characters you'll find yourself transported to the territory by all the sheer lovely detail of the land, ocean and marshes.
Cassie Edwards has a wonderful eye for detail when it comes to places (rooms) and landscapes!
My first one. They all went downhill for me. It was good if you're not used to this sort of thing. Got tired of all the man being the Chiefs to their tribe. It was like a broken record.
