A JMG. Missouri County Appointed Sheriff Novel Surrounded By Mystery, Murder and a Plot Against the United States
JMG. has. penned, I think, the best mystery of those he has composed, a novel about a man who was a big time marketing whiz who fell in hard times, was divorced with three children and had returned to his hometown to raise his three daughters. He purchased the local newspaper and his primary reporter was himself and an older man with a dividing wand. The two stumble over a hidden crime and the bodies begin to fall. This is excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
This was a quick easy read. But it was another good one by the author. It took me a little longer to get into it versus another by him I read however it did pick up the pace. I would read more by the author
But I did. I think it's because the author is a good storyteller. It's not filled with useless descriptions of the landscape. Just a good story. Funny, he doesn't develop the characters deeply but I still felt an emotional reaction in some cases.
