Lulu is just an ordinary girl in a red hood, how can she possibly defeat an Evil Queen?
When the Evil Queen kidnaps Lulu's granny, Lulu embarks on a quest to save the Sisters, a legendary sisterhood of the most powerful sorceresses in the land, Rapunzel, Aurora, Ariel, and Queen Snow White. But Prince Charming won't stop until he brings Lulu to the Evil Queen.
With the help of her new friends, Daniel and Pan, Lulu has to overcome traps, thorns, and pirates to break the Sisters' curses.
Including an excerpt from "Eye of the Queen," Timeless is an exciting new fairy tale retelling full of magic, werewolves, and red hoods.
I am a homeschooled indie author in high school who writes under the penname Grace Anthony. I live in rural Illinois and am a passionate reader, writer, and rider. I am often found writing on a blue laptop named Saphira. I am a self-proclaimed chocoholic, introvert, and am addicted to coffee. I plan on writing many more books in the future.
This is a clever fairy tale retelling by a self-published author still in high school. Miss Anthony´s passion for the story and the world she creates shines through on every page and her use of classic fairy tale tropes and characters make this something of a labour of love. Those who love princesses, wolves and castles will love the book, as my young daughter did. Even I, a 43-year-old man, got most of the references (I think!).
Miss Anthony says she prefers to self-publish as she likes to have control over every aspect of her books and that´s a lovely thing to want. However, professional editors and publishers might also help her to better shape and polish her work in the future to best realise her dreams and entertain readers.
I think if Miss Anthony keeps going the way she´s going she´ll be in for some happy endings.
