At fifteen she was raped in the woods by two men on her way home from a high school dance. She told no one about that night.
She never saw who did it but Charlize Wood always suspected it was someone from her hometown of Hope. She would look into the faces of the men she knew and wonder if it was one of them.
Fourteen years later, a picture of the location where she was raped shows up on her desk at work. Her bracelet lost during the struggle, a gift from her father appears at the bottom of the steps to her deck. Then the underwear that she was wearing are left for her too. All reminders of that terrible night.
She will be crushed by the identity of one of her rapists. She will be disgusted by the identity of her second rapist.
The third man...there needs to be some surprises. You just have to wait until the end.

I have so many manuscripts I started and never finished I don't know what to do with them all. I happened to be stuck at the Philadelphia airport with an editor from a publishing house in New York. She read one of my first manuscripts and offered me advise on how to improve it. I lost touch with her with my career in IT taking over. In 2013 I lost my job in IT after ten years with the same company. Found another, lost it again in 2014 due to cutbacks. During this downtime I started writing again and decided to explore Self-Publishing. I love living out the lives of my characters on paper. I love reading other author's works as well. There is nothing like getting lost inside someone's fantasy just for a little while because life sure isn't easy. You can forget your troubles inside the pages of a book.

Could have been a good story but wandered and repeated itself. Seems the word
Ass was the authors favorite word. Gave it a one star rating but don't think it deserved that

It really hurt me to read this complex story filled with damaging actions and outcomes.
