Really enjoyed this book - Mary Lincoln was a very complicated person - strong woman - world traveler - endured many deaths in her family and illnesses - treated unfairly at times.

The life of Mary Todd Lincoln as revealed in her own letters, with fascinating additional information by the authors. A thorough and accurate compilation, and a must-read for anyone interested in this colorful but tragic First Lady.
