Incredibly in-depth knowledge of the first four Peshwa's lifetimes. It does feels very academically written at times with lots of names being flung around in each of the chapters and can be very hard to keep track of the key names. Doesn't feel biased towards the Peshwa or the Mughals and is cited frequently with a number of references that makes you appreciate the hard work the writer has done before.
In short, its great for an in-depth dive into the stories and times of the Peshwas but not the best for a light history lesson.
