Irresistibly Undeniable was my first read from this author and I enjoyed it! Despite the introduction of secondary characters that seemed to have appeared in previous books, this story had no problem being read as a standalone.
This is Dyson and Ireland's second chance at love story. Ten years ago, Ireland thought they were in love. It was very high school, with lots of sneaking around, but it was real. So she gave him her virginity. Dyson then said something extremely hurtful immediately after and left. And I mean he was GONE! Moved away...
Ten years later, by chance, or what I like to call fate, they meet again. The truth about that night is eventually revealed and these two rekindle the spark that never really died. Told in first-person dual POV, it was awesome to get Dyson's perspective on this one. Not only because it helped to make him believable or strengthened the connection I had with his character, but because he was clear and concise. A vast difference was found in Ireland's POV. She tended to overthink and overwhelm herself. A tad bit annoying so thankfully Dyson was there to keep me going.
Dyson was just so sweet. Alpha, dominant, loyal, caring, considerate, generous, honest, steadfast, honorable, etc. And oh so sexy!
There was very little OW drama. It was barely a blip on the radar and there was never any doubt of Dyson's loyalty or fidelity to Ireland. The angst was minor in the sense that it was more between the characters than any outside force(s). The chemistry between the characters was hot, intense and steamy. A very sweet HEA rounded off what was, to me, a fantastic second chance love story!

I have read a few Zoey books and have enjoyed each and every one, some more than others. This book was different in the fact it’s not in a series it’s a standalone, I didn’t really know what to expect going in but I went in hopeful and mostly blind.
It’s not your typical girl falls in love with brothers best friend by any means believe me. Though it is that….
Teenagers who grow up but don’t forget each other or what they felt then and now.
Then..
Now…
Ireland Vyolet McKidd aka VeeVee or Vy, I am going to put this out there I didn’t like her for a lot of the story and that’s ok because when I finally did like her it was right when I was supposed to. She is a different kind of heroine, she is very independent. She knows what she wants and she is going to get it. Even through her heartache she is determined to make it work.
Her first real interview even gets messed up because of a run in. And if this were any other heroine I am sure she would have whined about it but not Ireland she picked herself up and went right through it. The fortitude. You would think I would have liked her through this you would be wrong. Haha but you have to make your own judgments right.
Dyson Cole /Richards, fell in love with a girl but couldn’t stay. We really get to meet and fall in love with Dyson. He is very standoffish in the beginning but he warms up as the book goes on. I loved his shock at different parts of the book. I too wasn’t a fan of his in the beginning. But boy oh boy does he redeem himself. I am in total swoon with him.
He is highly a successful business man who has been in search of something for most of his adult life he doesn’t know what it is until he finds it. I love his charm and his wit. I also like that he is 100 straight forward no beating around the bush with him at all.
As you read this book you will have questions and questions and you will second guess what you think is about to happen.
But you’re going to want to keep reading because you know the answers are coming. And Oh Nelly do the answers come. I clapped my HANDS… Yes I really did that. I swooned, I got mad, I smiled and I laughed this book really has it all. We also might get to see a few old friends if you look hard enough you will see them.. Right there.. ;)
This love story is unique and fresh in a way I wasn’t expecting. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion and I am allowed to have it.*
Irresistibly Undeniable is a second chance love story about 2 people who have known each other since they were 9 and 11 years old. Ireland McKidd and Dyson Cole were childhood friends with what could be called a side piece relationship. I say the because well, they were never together together, as in, boyfriend/girlfriend however, they spent a lot of time together, since Dyson was her brother's BFF. At the age of 15 and 17, Ireland lost her v card to Dyson, who, promptly broke her heart and left town, never to be seen or heard from again for 10 years.
10 years later both Ireland and Dyson live in Phoenix. Dyson is a multi-millionaire, and Ireland is a college grad looking for a job. They literally run into each other by accident and from there the story is about these two rekindling their relationship, among other things.
I want to first say this. I love Zoey Derrick. I loved her 69 Bottles series, and I do enjoy her writing. This book for me though….......I had a hard time with it. In fact, I debated on leaving a review because I did not want to upset anyone. I am not entirely sure how to leave this review without doing that, so, I think it's easiest for me to list what I liked and did not like, about this book.
Likes:
The second chance aspect of this love story. I am always a sucker for those.
I love the name Dyson.
I loved Reese and would love to see a book about him :)
What I did not like about this story is as follows.
If I am being honest, I did not like Ireland and I didn’t really like Dyson. I never really connected with either one of these characters.
I despised her roommate Becca and I am not really sure what purpose she served in this story.
I felt the story was repetitive and I really grew tired of the whole “say my name” thing Dyson repeats over and over and over again.
I felt that there was a whole lot of story thrown in here and honestly, I found that to be tiring to my brain :(
Please don't stone me!!!!
I hate leaving less than stellar reviews, I really, really do. But, I have to be honest with myself, the author and other readers in my opinion. I know that mine may not be the popular opinion and that’s ok. I will continue to support and read Zoey's work and give my honest review and feedback, because that's what was asked of me in exchange for an ARC.
I just need a day or two to get my head around the emotional roller coaster Zoey Derrick has just taken me on.
Characters with real problems, emotions and lives that just captivate the reader.
Ireland and Dyson have a past. One that is shrouded in a mystery. Why did Dyson leave Irelands life, 10 years ago, with nothing more than a roll in the hay! (Pun intended - but read the book to understand it!!
Their past becomes their present when Ireland comes crashing back into Dyson's life, in a spray of spilled coffee.
Of course I could continue to elaborate on the story but in all honesty I could never do it the justice it deserves.
I am a life long Zoey Derrick fan but from the moment I started this book, Zoey Derrick has delivered even greater depth to this story than many I've read by more high profile authors.
Zoey Derrick, you have truly outdone yourself with this trope.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
If you have ever read a Zoey Derrick book, you know her style of writing. In Irresistibly Undeniable Zoey takes you on a different writing path. A path that has you asking questions from the moment you read the last word in the prologue.
As any of Zoey's books, she takes you on a ride. Let me tell you, this ride is something else. You start off slow, but the climb is what gets you. You are wanting MORE, but it only seems to come in spurts, not satisfying your needs. You want answers, although you get them, you don't get the answers you truly want at the moment. You keep building, the desire, and want, is building like the BIG O.. And when you finally reach the peak. GOOD GOD! you better hold on tight, because you are going to get everything you ever wanted out of this ride and more; when you are finally over the cliff. Emotions will hit you head on. You will smile, you will possibly cry, if you are like me, and you will shout, and holler, because of something you read that you have been aching for.
Ireland aka Vee Vee aka Vy. : Just graduated a few months prior Ireland McKidd has held on to the love of her life Dyson Cole (Richards) for 10 years. The day before he moved out of town, 10 years ago, he took 15 year old Ireland's virginity. He left her in the dingy barn naked, as he zipped up his pants and muttered the words "About time you put out!" Walking away and was never seen again. Only to come face to face with him in her dream job interview.
Dyson Cole: Cocky, arrogant, douche nozzle at first. Caring, loving, and your next heart-throb later. He left Ireland 10 years ago after taking her virginity in a dingy barn. He knew he'd miss her, and didn't want to move. That was the only way to forget about her. Wrong. That was the day he fell in love with her. After 10 years, the fiery redhead, he never forgot, comes rushing back into his life, after all those years. Not knowing if it was her or not, until an interview confirmed what he thought all along.
The love these two bring is a special kind. Dyson never once got over her, while Ireland tried to get over him. Their love takes you on a special journey, getting to know each other again. Falling in love all over again, and getting smacked with a past that is about to turn everything upside down. But, can it be fixed? Can Ireland move on from all the lies that were told to her?
Friends become more, and special surprises pop up on you when you least expect it. With help of friends, who are now part of your new family, can two people get a second chance at love, or is the past too hard to move on from?
Past characters from Zoey's books Love's Wings, 69 Bottles, 1 Week, and Bold Security all have an appearance in this book.
Ireland and Dyson will make you angry, cuss, smile, and cry. Only friends and family can really understand EVERYTHING!
I'm not good at reviews. I referenced this book like an ORGASM: Because the build is what gets you wanting more. You have needs, and you want more of it. That is what you feel reading this book. By the time you come to the peak of your Big O. Zoey pushes you over the edge, and you are one big emotional mess. It's the best O you've had! You can't give up, you just continue experiencing the after shocks of what is about to happen next.
First let me say I love Zoey Derrick, I have yet to read something she's written that doesn't work for me. That being said as much as I adore her Irresistibly Undeniable scared me, the idea of a cookie cutter second chance romance was not exactly what I was looking for but given her past books I decided to read it anyway. Thank goodness I did. There is NOTHING cookie cutter about this book, this is a whole new take on second chances, a storyline I've personally never seen before. Dyson & Ireland practically grew up together. Two years older than her, he was her brothers best friend and her first everything. First crush, first love, first lover. And then he was gone.
To a fifteen year old girl that would be devastating. To a fifteen year old girl who is in love with the boy it's the end of her world.
Fast forward ten years. Ireland is about to see all her hard work put to good use, she's interviewing for her dream job when she smacks right into her past. Literally. Only she's not sure it's who she thinks it is. The interview is the only highlight in her life, having just lost her mother Ireland is broken, lost, in need of something but she doesn't know what. Dyson is that something. And once they realize they are working in the same building he sets out to make up for the past. To make her understand why he left, what she meant to and still means to him. He want's to make everything better for her, and since he has the ability thinks he should.
Oh my, these two. At each others throats one minute and denying the chemistry between them only to make themselves more miserable. Dyson refuses to give up, he gives her time, gives her everything she needs. The man is next to perfect in his ability to take his time and not rush her, not scare her off. Ireland may be broken but she's not a pushover. She loves this man but refuses to make things easy on him. As much as her body wants him, her heart is still shattered and in no condition to give to him only to have it ripped out again. She's scared and he's persistent. When all the secrets come out will they ever be able to have the happily ever after they dreamed of or will the divide created be too much?
The characters in this book were so realistic, their problems, their fears, all were realistic. Then there was this backstabbing, sleeze of a so called best friend who ticked me off. I have some harsh feelings for Becca, not sure what her issue is but I hear we may find out!! It's going to take some work to make me feel anything positive towards her.
I'm so glad I read this one!! First off I adore the names Ireland & Dyson, can't say I've read about either before. Then there's the story itself, it hooked me in the first couple of chapters and I found myself glued to the pages, hating to be interrupted by real life. Loved almost every person and every thing about this book, 5 stars.
I don't know if I have the words to explain how good this book was. Zoey's books are always an easy one click buy for me but this book was an ugly cry book in the beginning a happy steamy love me good times in the middle.. what the he## just happened and you get to read to figure out the rest. this is a stand alone book but a lot of Zoey's first pop in for a visit so reading Finding Loves Wings and Chasing Loves Wings while not necessary will make the book more enjoyable. Zoey Derrick just has a way with words and is a genius. She some how digs in and makes you feel the stories. You get to enjoy the feels of the book not just read the story. Every character in the story is there for a reason down to a personal assistant and bat sh#t crazy best friend. I could go on for ever about this book but five stars are not enough for this book. it's a cuddle up grab the tissue bottle of wine and your big girl panties book night because once you start this book you going to scream like I did every time you have to put it down its just that good.
My start for this review is I had the hardest time ever getting into the beginning of it. It took me 4 tries. Now with that being said I am so happy I went through with it. This book is related to The 69 Bottles series, as people crossover. This can be read as a stand alone, even though I was lost at the beginning. That had nothing to do with the crossover.
Even though she falls in love with her brothers best friend and at a very early age in life, this book is not typical. The book in parts are told through her memories. She was in love with from an early age and after watching him go from girl to girl she makes her move. She wants him to see her as more. Finally, she thinks. Then not too long after he up and leaves. When he leaves there is speculation and she is afraid of ridicule. You see Ireland doesn't believe she is this beautiful girl with red hair and a fiery personality. No, she is the girl with red hair and fat. The girl that is named Ireland and as big as that country. My heart broke when I read that. She felt she wasn't what boys wanted. She decides to change her life. Now fast forward 7.5 years and you have Ireland reeling from personal tragedy. She is trying to move when she sees the last person she expected to see at her job interview.
There is so much going on in this book, but when he sees her for the first time he is a bit miffed. He feels a connection and doesn’t know why. When they banter back and forth it made me laugh.
"Say my name." "Never." "Say my name." "Pricked" "Say my name." "Cocky Bastard." "Say my name." "Stuck-up Three Thousand Dollar Suit Wearing Pencil Dick. “Oh sweetheart, it’s far from a pencil.”
Then when he played a game with her and involved her roommate I was a bit angry. The dynamic between the two are good. The mystery comes in when she gets a letter and it says things will be revealed soon. Ireland had some great friends and not so great. I loved Reese, and Cami. This is where the crossover people come in. At the same time they were Dyson’s friends as well.
Dyson and Ireland have been close by each other for a while and had no clue. I loved how that all played out. I loved the connection between them. He would give her anything, even if meant time, space, love, friendship, someone to just hold her or. Then moments likes this
"I want you anyway you’ll give yourself to me. I’ve never stopped wanting you, Ireland.” He takes a deep breath and steps back, separating us a little. “But I don’t know how to do this. I’ve spent so much of my life bouncing around between what I thought I wanted, what I wanted and more importantly, what I needed, that I haven’t had the time to figure it all out.”
He is new to relationships. He has been around, casual. He then gives it a shot and well it didn't work out. They weren't Ireland and he realizes it. Close to ten years is a long time.
This book has lies, half truths, omissions, deceit, friends, family and above everything....Love. The only thing I didn't understand was her brother and why he didn't help at any time. That kind os bothered me. Then there is a timeline issue. It contradicts, but it isn't too drastic. It says 7.5 years then it jumps to 10 years, but can't be based on occurrences going on. Those are really my only issues I had. I felt the connection with Ireland and Dyson in this book
This is the first book I have read from this author and I intend to read more. Again, I am glad I was able to push past what was stopping me and give this book a go.

Zoey Derrick is back! Man I loved her 69 Bottles series. It is one of my all time favorites out there. She can write rock-n-roll like not many others so I was super intrigued and eager to jump ship with her to her next venture... romantic comedy. And guess what? She totally killed it and made me once again, a lifelong fan.
Irresistibly Undeniable was a sexy, sweet, fun, intense, passionate, and captivating romance with dashes of angst and drama thrown into the mix. This book was a great, lighter read that intrigued me and had me lost between the pages. The characters... the plot... the intensity... get ready for one gripping read that will glue you to the pages.
He was her older brother's best friend. They should have never wanted each other... but they did. She was chubby, younger, and not popular. He... he was the exact opposite. He was her everything and she was his... until he ripped out her heart and ran away with it like a thief in the night.
It's been years since they've seen each other. Dyson is not the same man he was all those years ago. Neither is Ireland. When their lives collide again, it is of epic proportions. Get ready for sizzling chemistry and laugh out loud banter.
This book is not for the faint of heart. You have one strong woman who speaks her mind and one alpha who always gets what he wants. Get ready to get a little dirty. You've been warned.
This is a second chance romance but it's so much different then most I've read. Ireland aka Vy aka VeeVee, is unlike most heroine in romance novels. She gets her heart broken, after what have should have been a amazing night, turns into a night she'll never forget. Ireland gets knocked down but instead of crying and whining about it, she picks herself and keeps going to prove she's strong. Dyson, at first comes off as kinda cocky asshole but soon that changes. Him and Ireland have a lot to discuss in order to move on. Once the truth comes out, things start fall into place for them. Ireland gets the biggest surprise of all but I won't tell you what that is. This book gives you real feelings and Dyson is so swoonworthy that he'll make you fall in love with him. If you like strong, intelligent, witty females then you'll love Ireland. She keeps Dyson on his toes but he makes it up to her in some sexy times. Sweet lord, they have serious chemistry and can't help showing it all the time. If you're a huge fan of Zoey's books, then you won't be disappointed with this one. You'll be pretty surprised at some parts. Oh and you'll cry and hate Becca(the roommate) at times. This book is simply one of the best I've read this year! Well done Zoey!
This is the first book by this author that I've read and it was really good.
I loved Dyson and Ireland. The story drew me in immediately and kept me guessing at what was going to happen. There were a few unexpected twists and turns as well. The characters were well developed and the secondary characters - which I think from her another one of the authors books - were great. This book def pulled at my heartstrings. It was emotional in all the right ways. It was sad, funny, thrilling and unexpected.
OMG!!!! Zoey Derrick is a goddess!! I love all of her books. I have not read a book by Zoey book that I didn't fall in love with. I loved this book!! It can definitely be read as a standalone but after you finish reading it you are going to want to read her other books especially Chasing Love's Wings and Finding Love's Wings. I would give this book ten stars if I could.
DNF 30% Uh, no. No way I'm gonna make it through this shite. It's disheartening when after trying to find decent books you have waded through so much crap storytelling you know almost instantly that you've wound up with another turd of a book.
I gave it several chapters, but was pretty well done in when the h's nipples puckered and she got all clenchy in her thighs over the douchebag H's voice. His frikken VOICE. While he snarled at her, quite nastily, I might add. So, that was bullshit. I knew then that she was another insipid doormat prone to fits of hormonal brain-fog. She got all hot before she ever saw this twat and believe it, this hero is so far up himself it's a joke to try to redeem him. His inconsistent inner dialogue proves the writer didn't know her character at all, but the most important thing to know is that he admits he is a pump-and-dump sort of guy - and he's good with it. He did it to the h a decade before when he tricked her out of her virginity and then moved halfway across the country the. Next. Day. Without telling the h. What a prince! 🤢🤮🖕.
But what had already turned me off was the fact that the writer insisted on making fools of her audience. How? The couple in question has several encounters on the same day, but don't recognise each other. Come again? You're going to tell me that these two idiots that have supposedly been in love since their teens DON'T REALISE THEY ARE STOOD BEFORE THEIR SOULMATE. Um, no. I don't appreciate being treated to such shite plot devices and asked to suspend my belief for a story. Fuck that. This story - what I've read - is poorly executed, with poorly drawn, immature and frankly unlikable characters with zero chemistry. And apparently the H has a 'say my name' fetish that I thankfully didn't read far enough to encounter. Supposedly he's quite insistent about it (aka an arrogant, controlling knob) which makes me want to bitch-slap him until he gains some sense and respect. Fuck him, too.
I am heartily sick of this kind of shallow, sexist writing that depicts men as superior to women and women as gormless pushovers whose minds lay half-drowned in their wet knickers. If a writer wants readers to connect with their characters but write them with such unkindness in their history as this hero, they best do the proper character development to redeem them. But I don't think that anything could make me like the hero in this book, and I don't care to read any further to find out. Based on what I managed to slog through, I don't think the writer has the chops.
First and last book by this writer.

Another fantastic read by author Zoey Derrick. I love the way this author writes, from the first first word she drags you into the story and makes you feel each and every emotion that the characters do.
This is Dyson and Ireland's story, and it is quite the tale. I love a book that gives you a real history of the characters, it helps you understand what makes them tick and to rationalise some of the silly decisions the characters make.
With this story I especially loved playing the guessing game, working out what was coming next, because you know Ms Derrick won't give you an easy love/romance story, she always makes her characters work for their HEA, and this book is no different.
For me it was definitely another must read, and I loved the links and mentions to other characters and series that I have loved from this author. Have no fear this book is a standalone and can be read as so, but if you haven't already indulged in the Love's Wings series, 69 Bottles series and Aryn's Desire then you certainly will once you've finished Irresistibly Undeniable so that you can learn about and fall in love with all of Zoey Derrick's characters that have added to and made this book the spectacular read that it was.
Childhood friends and a second chance romance story at its best! This was my first story by the author and boy was it a good story to start with. Heartbreak, deception, innocence, love and desire are all a big part of the story. Your taken on a ride from when Dylan and Ireland were teenagers and Dylan walking out on Ireland after taking her innocence to 10 years later and Dylan wanting back the person he walked away from all those years ago. In the 10 years since Dylan walked away he has become very sucessful. He has power and money now. He also is devastatingly good looking with woman lining up for him. Ireland seemed far to good to Dylan at the start. He was a player who was very arrogant and cocky. He should never of walked away from Ireland. She was to good for him so i was very happy that she made him work for her time and affection. Ireland was left heartbroken after Dylan left her. She didn't no why he left her as he left with no explanation or where he had gone to. She moved on as best she could but she still held him in her heart. So when she bumps in to him, literally, it sparks up the old emotions again but can she ever bring herself to trust him again. I wish I'd knew before reading this that I'd need a few boxes of tissues...you've been warned! The story left me a emotional mess. I was even so angry at points that it made me cry too. The author really caught the raw emotion of Ireland well. Her character felt very real to life which made connecting to her very easy. The build up was intense. I loved the angst too. The more angst the better in my opinion. 4.5 Stars
I am so glad that i discovered Zoey’s books as they never ever disappoint. Zoey has a way of taking you on a journey with her books, she just has this way with words that immerses you right into the characters and there lives. You live and breathe every sentence, every word right up to the very end.
This is so much more than a second chance romance, its a story of first love, of heartbreak, of deception and desire. It will bring out so many emotions in you, you will cry, you will laugh, you will swoon and also get angry but you will also have a huge smile on your face
First impressions of Dylan Cole - he’s a cocky, arrogant and a complete douche. A successful business man and also a ladies man, moving from woman to woman searching for that something thats always missing, that he left in a barn 10 years ago.
Ireland McKidd aka VeeVee has been trying for 10 years to get over the love of her life. Having known Dylan since they were young, she loved him from an early age and despite the way he left her those feelings have never quite gone away. Picking up the pieces of her shattered heart, she is determined to build a life and a career for herself so when she walks into her dream job interview and literally crashes into Dylan she couldn’t be more surprised or angry.
Here is where my first impressions of Dylan changed and i started to fall for this caring and loving man who had me swooning more and more as the book went on. Ireland has spent 10 years trying to mend her heart and forget him but Dylan has never gotten over what he did to her. He realises that he has got some work to do to get her to forgive him, make her trust him again but he's in it for the long haul there is no way he is letting her get away this time.
The raw emotion in this book is so well written and will have you reaching for the tissues. I was really routing for these two, I wanted Ireland to forgive him, I wanted Dylan to prove himself to her, prove he is worthy of her love and the 10 years of tears and heartbreak could all be repaired.
This is another fantastic book from Zoey. The build up was great, the characters engaging and really likeable and I loved it.

☆☆☆☆ 3.5 STARS Stars ☆☆☆☆
Dyson and Ireland’s a little bit of a forbidden romance, that turned into something more. When they were kids, they were close and was practically best friends. But once they started to blossom into young adults, their attraction for each other came out little by little. It first started out with flirting, then hugging and one day Ireland gave all of herself to Dyson. Their childhood story didn’t end well, then 10yrs later they bump into each other. Their meeting started with so much hate, but their attraction for each other changed it all quickly. While I was hoping for Dyson to grovel and Ireland to make him pay for his actions in the past, their romance restarted quick and fast. They were sweet, at times too sweet. They love to play games and a lot of times very dirty games. This story is all about them moving pass their past and forgiving each other wholeheartedly. If you love dirty and sweet, this is the book for you.
Ireland McKidd’s life fell apart in a run down barn after the boy she loved took her virginity and then left without a trace. Being an overweight teenager, his harsh last words to her were her undoing. From then on, she never felt wanted or truly loved.
Ten years later, Ireland is interviewing for her dream job. On her way in, she bumps into an arrogant man in an expensive suit, spilling coffee all over both of them. Little did she know that the gorgeous jerk was her long, lost love.
She can’t believe her eyes and she certainly doesn’t want anything to do with him.
Dyson Cole made the biggest mistake of his life when he left Ireland in the barn that night. He thought he was protecting her, but instead he broke both of them. He is determined to get her back in his life now that he has made something of himself.
Fate has a way of playing tricks on you, especially when the woman you have been longing for just happens to bump into you at work. Ireland is not happy to see him, so Dyson definitely has his work cut out for him.
This was a sweet, love story about second chances. Not every couple has it easy, and this couple certainly had circumstances much worse than most. I enjoyed how Dyson had to work nonstop to gain back Ireland’s trust.
This book had a bit of everything: heartbreak, redemption, suspense, and mystery.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. And boy, will you get one.
This book has taken me on a journey of first love, heartbreak, trust, acceptance, desire, and faith. It has left me heartbroken and haphazardly patched back together with band-aids made of the tattered pieces of my soul.
Dyson and Ireland are childhood friends. A chubby innocent girl and her brother's best friend. Thrown together and apart by circumstance, they spend their adult lives trying to mend and find their way....through life, through love, and to each other. What happens to them, individually and together, is a ride that is worth every tear, every curse word, every smile. Existing fans of Zoey Derrick will appreciate the innocence of the story and characters, which are a departure from her normal full-on x-rated hotness. New readers of Zoey will be dying to read the stories of the characters from her other books who make an appearance in this one.
Zoey will take you on a journey of self loathing, self acceptance, and self love. True devotion and deception. I cannot recommend this book, and this author, with enough enthusiasm. You will never regret the depth with which you will be immersed in her stories, except maybe when they are over and you are left wondering what you are supposed to do now. Which is how it should be. Read on and fall in love every day. Well done, Zoey!!
Ireland McKidd has been going through life on autopilot. After having her heart irrevocably broken at a young age, she has tried to move on with no success. One unexpected devastating event steers her in the direction of the man who ruined her life. Can she survive another round with him and remain unscathed?
Dyson Cole has one regret in his life. Ireland. He was a stupid teenager at the time when he hurt her and has always wanted to make amends. He's hoping that this accidental meeting will allow him the chance to get back into her good graces and maybe even let him into her heart.
Oh my god this book was awesome. Ireland was a strong character and I really felt for her. She had so many terrible things happened in her life but kept it together for the most part. I loved the chemistry between her and Dyson. Though he kept up a front of the ruthless businessman, she had him wrapped around her finger. There were some surprising things that I can't get into as I don't want to spoil, but it will definitely throw you for a loop. I smiled at the end of the book when I read about certain individuals who shall remain nameless and you will too. Loved this book. Five stars!
Irresistibly Undeniable is a story of true and lifelong love. Ireland and Dyson fell in love as teenagers when Dyson was best friends with Ireland’s brother but he was forced to move away with his family and left without ever telling her. In a strange twist of fate, they literally run into each other again ten years later. However, Ireland is still angry with Dyson for the way he left and isn’t ready to forgive me. Dyson is convinced to do whatever it takes to get Ireland back in his life. This book is full of unexpected surprises and long buried secrets. Just when you think you have everything figured out, Zoey throws in a curveball. This is an amazing read by a wonderful author, Zoey Derrick. She has a way of making the characters of Dyson and Ireland feel so real and their relationship is not all sunshine and roses. They struggle to make things work and have to face real problems in their relationship. I absolutely fell in love with them and didn’t want their story to end. If you are familiar with Zoey’s 69 Bottles series you will also be pleasantly surprised to see a few familiar characters in Irresistibly Undeniable. This is a must read!!
This book was irresistibly undeniably unbelievable!! Zoey seriously blew me away. Usually when I read a book this long I wind up bored before the halfway point because the story is drawn out. I knew this one would he different though because Zoey is incapable of writing anything boring. She writes story that cause spontaneous combustion of your panties and your heart. I found myself completely engaged with what I was reading at all times. It consumed me.
Second chance romances also happen to be my favorite kind to read. I love seeing people go and repair relationships that they seriously screwed up the first time around. Dyson Cole will make you swoon and you will be telling others you licked him first to lay claim to him.Although he is totally swoonworthy, Ireland is a total firecracker and I love her so much.
Watching these two navigate their way through troubled waters will be one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride. You will love every second of it. I can't wait for the next awesome book from Zoey.
OMG. I´ve read all of Zoey´s books and I loved every book. Her 69 bottles series is my favorite series of all times. And now I have a new favorite read. It´s her stand alone Irresistibly Undeniable.
When you know her books, you also know this is not gonna be the typical romance book. It´s so much more. It´s gritty and heartbreakingly hurtful. I had more than one ugly cry and it was such an roller coaster.
Ireland McKidd and Dyson Cole , Two soulmates as teenagers separated through heartbreak- find each other after 10 years. Can they build new trust and love and find a solution?
She’s irresistible. He’s undeniable.
I love Zoey´s words and I Highly recommend this book- Highly recommend it !! 5 Stars and Thank you so much Zoey Derrick !!
I am so in love with these characters and I love the way she incorporated the characters from 69 Bottles. Ireland and Dyson will mark your heart forever. Their story is incredible complex and will pull at your heartstrings. I honestly didn’t put this book down once I started. The storyline will draw you in and not let go. There were several moments that had me holding my breath, waiting to see how it turned out. There were also several funny moments that had me in tears I laughed so hard. Dyson is incredibly swoon-worthy. “Say my name.” Every time had me breaking out in goosebumps. I was a huge fan before, but this book has cemented Zoey Derrick’s place on my TBR author list. This book has a little bit of everything; you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll get angry. But it is a very well-written story because you feel all of these things for the characters. You can feel their pain and anguish and their successes and love.
This is a story 10 years in the making. Ireland and Dyson have been apart for years and Ireland has been in anguish over Dyson's departure. Both hating him for how he left and heartbroken because he left. Dyson has missed Ireland as well and hated how he had to leave her and then scared to go back to her.
So many events happen in this book that you're on an emotional roller coaster. But it's not constant drama and you get a great story with highs and lows.
Is there anyway Goodreads can make 10 stars a rating?!? I would give this book an 11! This is a must read!
I loved loved loved Dyson and Ireland!!! They make me believe true love really does exist even if you lost it, it can be found again!

I was pulled right into this story. This story contains suspense, love, heartbreak, and pain.
This is Ireland and Dyson‘s story. Ten years after taking her innocence and walking away Dyson crashes back into Ireland’s life. Ireland has lost everything and is barely holding it together. She does not have time for Dyson. Dyson is determined to get back the one he walked away from. Will she let him in? Or will she push him away? Once he has her again is he going to walk away or is her here forever now? Can he bring back the girl from the past and help her heal through all her pain?
I loved this book! It was irresistibly undeniably HOT! Dyson and Ireland fell in love when they were teenagers, but we're too young to comprehend their feelings. Ten years later they run into each other, literally. Dyson and Ireland's connection is magnetic, and so strong. Their chemistry is undeniable. Can they rekindle their love from years ago? Is their love strong enough to handle the surprises that are in store for them? Will Ireland and Dyson finally get their happy ever after? This is the first book I have read by Zoey Derrick, and I fell in love with all her characters. I look forward to reading the 69 Bottles Series with these amazing characters.
