Linux Administration using webmin

Rate this book
Linux is the most common operating system used in servers. The basic advantage of Linux is that it is a multiuser operating system from below upwards, robust, secure and free. Managing Linux operating system installed in a server i.e. dedicated / virtual is easily done using command terminal. A system admin needs to know at least a minimum of 600 commands for basic Linux server maintenance. Current versions of Linux has automated server management system in place. But still customization is needed, for this to happen knowledge of Linux command system is imperative. It is really cumbersome for administrators to memorize all the commands used in the management of the server, hence there is a need for user friendly Graphic User Interface for
carrying out the various maintenance tasks. Webmin fits this bill because of its power combined with simplicity.
