Until you’ve walked in a person’s shoes, don’t be so quick to judge. We all handle situations differently. When a person beats you down, to the point where you think you are nothing and all you have is them, you become codependent on that relationship, no matter how dysfunctional that relationship is. Audrey Gibson has been called everything from weak to a pushover. Audrey was brainwashed, and it takes time for a person who has gone through what she has to snap out of that trance. It takes someone strong to deal with a person who’s been hurt. And it takes a person who is willing to take the time to tear down that wall, brick by brick, for that person to believe in herself and trust someone again.
Sean Lee beat her self-esteem down to nothing. He had her so blind to the things that were happening right in front of her face. And Antwan Jared got her attention because he didn’t care about Sean or anything that had to do with him, other than Audrey. No matter how much everyone told Antwan to stay away from Audrey, because of Sean, he wouldn’t back down. She loves a man who doesn’t deserve her, and Antwan is determined to make her love a man that does. Despite the events that are going on in both Antwan’s or Audrey’s lives, when they are together, nothing else matters.
A phone call snaps Audrey and Antwan back to reality. And Audrey soon finds out that her nightmares are real and that everything that she thought was real was a nightmare. Secrets about not only Antwan’s life but about her own start to unravel. And Audrey begins to realize that sometimes holding on does more damage than letting go.

This had me glued to my kindle from the very first page. It was so many secret coming out that I don't know where to start. Aubrey at first was making me mad but she gotten it together. I loved me some Antwan. In this series Krystal take you on a ride and it ending with the perfect ending.

Amazing.
I didn't feel that Audrey weak when it came to Sean. I actually felt sorry for her. Judging by how her father was. Audrey ended up loving a man exactly like her father. A man that was selfish and manipulative. After certain secrets were revealed. Audrey life was turned upside down. She was still trying to protect those she loved even though they didn't deserve it. Sean claimed to not remember anything but that didn't take away from how Audrey felt. Sean had put himself in multiple situations dealing with people who he thought had his back. Karen was a conniving and evil tramp. Everything she did had a motive behind it and she didn't care who had gotten hurt in the process. Antwan was not giving up on Audrey no matter who was trying to get in his way.

Whew, this story was something else the main characters sent you to a place that only a book could 🤦🏾♀️. The anger, sadness, and joy these two will bring about is something for the record books and definitely worthy of a read. Antwan is that dude and when I say you are not ready for this ending don’t underestimate the future of Antwan, Lyric, and their cast of friends!

Good Read the ending had me in tears...Im glad AJ took care of Karen and Ervin they was some spiteful SOB's. Im glad Lyric had the courage to venture out to find real love in Antwan cause Sean wasn't worth nothing. Im happy that Mariah got to follow her dream and actually figured out her love life. But there was so many secrets twist and turns I just luved it

The facts that this book was about music had me from the beginning. These people have experienced anything you could possibly think of but they kept pushing. There were so many ruthless people in this book but I was glad to see someone experience love. I'm a new fan for sure.

Great series
This was an incredible read. At times Lyric made me want to strangle her but in the end she made the right moves. I love Ant and Lyric together their love is what we all dream about. My first time with this author and will definitely not be my last. Well done

This was a good read but Lyric started to get on my nerves trying to look out for everyone regardless of the damage that would be done to her, even when it was blatantly put in her face that her decisions would have awful consequences for herself.

Good series!
I actually like book two a little better than book one. It was filled with more action, secrets, drama and lies. Audrey still tried to be the person for everyone, but she finally got her happy ending.

I haven't cried so much while reading a series. I completed this series in one day. It was so emotional for me but I must say it was a great read.

Drama
Drama, drama and more drama. If it's been awhile since you have read the first installment, you may want to do a quick re-read. It took me until the middle of the book to be able to keep all of the characters straight. I feel like Antwan and Audrey's love story was lost among the drama. Considering all of those things, the story was still entertaining. It would be nice to catch up with Antawn and Lyric someday.

Very Good!!!
That Karen was something else right along with her no good husband. Lyric played no games when it came to Antwan poor thing went through the wringer for him. Sean still was a piece of work no matter what he went through he still was a jerk. It was crazy how all those secrets just kept coming out. This book was most definitely a good read from the beginning to the end.

This series was everything. So many secrets was revealed. Aubrey was getting on my nerves in the beginning but I'm glad she got some act right. I did not expect that from Karen, but I'm glad she got what was coming to her. I just love me some Antwan, he wore his heart on his sleeve in this book and I loved it. I hope to hear more from Audrey and Antwan and I can't wait to read about Drizzle and Mariah. Krystal Armstead did her thing on this series. If you haven't read this series I would recommend you do, you will not be disappointed.

My emotions were on high alert with one. That damn Antwan is the THE MANNNNN!!! Lord where was he at in my younger days. Lyric finally got to together at got her man. Sean was an evil person. Hopefully he has changed. This story was full of suspense pure raw emotions. I almost dropped some tears. Whew this a certified banger!!! 10 stars definitely worth the wait.

I loved all the drama in this book. On the edge of my seat at times and crying at others, this book was a real page turner. All the stuff Lyric went through she deserved to finally be happy. But as it unfolded, was a journey of lies, secrets, drama, violence then finally a beautiful love story!

Sex, lies, money, and a whole lot of secrets."The love of money is the root of all evil." This series had me on the edge of my seat throughout both books. It was hard to predict what would happen next. Once I figured this would happen, then someone would throw a curve ball, and that would happen. One person interrupted the lives of so many people because of greed. In the end, Karma dealt a had that made that person wish they had not done the things they did.
