The good girl falls for the bad boy.

But what if there is more to Sin Carter than a bad attitude, tattoos and piercings.

And what if there is more to Taylor Price than the fact she has always followed the rules and done what she was told.

Their pasts haunt them. Sin is trying to break free from his dark past while Taylor lives each day trying to forget about the horrors that marred her childhood

When they meet their physical attraction is undeniable. One night is not
enough for both of them.

I originally found this book on the Episode App. I've been wondering about it for a while so I finally decided to read it. I liked this book but I also had issues with the main character Taylor. This book was also a little misleading when it came to Taylor's past. Throughout this read it seemed like whatever happened in her childhood that made her so naive was more than terrible. And I honestly don't think it was as terrible as the author made it out to seem in this book. Not that it wasn't bad. I don't know if its just me but compared to other books I've read it just doesn't seem as bad. So i wasn't a big fan of some of Taylor's decisions but she ended up growing on me. Sin was the typical bad boy character in a book like this. But i liked his character and he was the perfect complement to Taylor. Their romance was a physical to emotional translation throughout the book. And even though that isn't my preference it worked for this couple. I did love the ending of this book and the overall pace. I'm rating this book 3.5 stars as in i liked it and it was better than average. I'm not giving this book 4 stars because of Taylor and that the book itself is very similar to other bad boy romances a in high school and college.

You must to be a virgin if you want to win a bad boys heart.
This review contains unhidden spoilers!

Ehm... I was playing a game Loving Bad on Episode from Google Play and I found out what it's based on a novel. So I read it. First of all I was surprised this novel was a hit on Wattpad and the success lead it to Amazon. It's a first book I read which started it's way on Wattpad. The author is lucky and it's so easy to sell a book today. Why I'm saying the author is lucky? Because book itself is nothing special. It perfectly fits on Wattpad (and I like Wattpad!).
It's a love story of a good girl and a bad boy (who of course is not a bad boy, he is just one unlucky guy).
The thing what brought my attention was an idea of a college girl (the main character) who just wanted to rid off her virginity (omg yes I'm so conservative) because she haven't an opportunity to do it earlier (Ehm.. Ok, who said students suppose to be smart?). So she choose the bad guy who sleeps with girls just one time (oh this is really bad guy, such a chauvinist, such an innocence, true love killer) but... he turns her off because she is a virgin! What a spin! What a scandal! A bad boy don't do virgins. The end of the world. But our heroes is not ready to give up, she just want to loose her virginity, to live a life to the fullest (because to live a life to the fullest means drinking and f*cking. Gosh, I new I missed something in my life). But a bad boy started to be jealous of her as she started to date anyone who would be able to do her. So finnaly he did her (because even a bad boy with a good heart have an ego) and she was so lucky to finally become a NORMAL F*CKED STUDENT (it's strange she didn't praise a Lord for that). She was "smart" enough to accept the reality what it was just a one night stand, but OMG no! Of course not! The guy wanted more, because she was so special, so naive, so attractive (doesn't all virgins are? No?) so they made a deal - let's f*ck on call. What a great idea! So shall it be, she said. I just want to live a life to the fullest, she said. And they f*cked and every f*ck was great (because we all know from movies and romance books what penetration is just easy peasy and full of orgasms) and they fall in love slowly. Because she was different, because she was hiding something from her past. What? Something really terrible.
Basically this book is about virgin who don't want to be virgin, want to drink, go to parties and...ehm..and...study? Wait. I'll try again.
It's a magical story about a girl who is different. Story full of adventures and hard decisions every person must go through. N O T!
Nice story for Wattpad. And I payed money for this book! And I'm grieving for my money! But I keep telling myself - you did a good job, you helped a person to earn money. Maybe some day someone will pay for your story, even if it will be shitty as hell. I just want to live my life to the fullest!!! Oh, wait, I'm not a virgin... *sobbing*

I started the book with the episode app and the whole story started to intrigue me to buy this book and read the whole story. I really do like the story and the characters the only reason for deducting a star is that the whole story could have been longer. There is such much room for more content.

It took years for Taylor to learn to deal with her horrendous past. In spite of her overly protective brother’s concerns, she is living the life of a normal college girl and ready to lose her “V” card, because that’s what college is all about, right? Naturally the lucky man she has chosen is the mysterious bad boy, named Sin. Sin who never beds a girl twice, Sin who lives up to his name, Sin who carries a blackness in his own past.
What neither of them expected was to find more than just sex and they both fight it tooth and nail, neither capable of truly understanding the concept of sharing with and caring for another. When Taylor’s past catches up with her and she is stalked by a crazed animal bent on revenge, Sin is nowhere to be found, because once again, these two have failed to be honest or to communicate. Will it take a kidnapping and near rape to bring these two together?

Loving Bad by Regan Ure brings a sheltered girl and a boy who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks together as an unlikely pair with sex being their only acknowledged link. Sex everywhere, anywhere, even closets. Their chemistry is off the charts as Regan Ure spares nothing in the details and each page starts to smolder. Told from both points of view, it is Sin’s that seems the most heartfelt and painful. Taylor is high on angst, high maintenance and overly protected. I’ not sure she really understands what the real world is about, nor has she had time to be all grown up on her own.
What Regan Ure brings to the table is a tale of learning to give as well as take and how to make a true relationship based on more than just sex. Patience and communication as well as learning to be honest are not easy lessons to learn. Great lessons, hot sex, more hot sex and a mystery to boot! A quick read, not too fluffy, not too dark.

I received this copy from Regan Ure in exchange for my honest review. My rating: 3.5 Stars

I'm so on the fence here that I'm giving it three stars.

It was pretty decently written. But I did have some issues. First of all, why not more of Sin's POV. It was just enough to tease. It was just a few chapters tossed in there. Frankly I would have liked more from the beginning if for nothing else to get the hell out of Taylor's head. The basic bones of the story had promise, but I'm afraid that execution just didn't pull it all the way off. Entirely too much push and pull and nearly zero dialogue. Way too much inner monologue with a heroine who drove me freaking nuts. Serious unnecessary whiplash that I felt was designed to drag it out. I saw many different routes this could have gone without all the unnecessary catch and release scenarios that still would have made this book good. I didn't understand at all how these two want to be together exclusively for sex to her falling in love just to push him away time and time and time again. All I felt was hormones. There were some on the edge of seat moments. There were some sweet moments. There were some hot moments. But these good moments were few and far between because of all the other drama going on that led to one "breakup" after another until I began to get bored out of my mind. Therefore I started skimming because I was ready for it to just end. And just to say, it's never good when readers would rather skim for the good parts because there just isn't enough.

I thought, by looking at the reviews, that this was going to be a decent book.. but come on people. This book was boring, predictable and very poorly written. There was way too much repetitive filler material. Just bad..

I read this on episodes initially. Then I read it agin on Wattpad.
And I couldn't stop myself form reading it as a book to be honest.

I might have been biased while rating it, because I've read it before when I started reading. But I love it nonetheless.

Anyway, now honestly speaking now that we I've read it, I can clearly see the lack of chemistry and understanding between the main characters. So, I have reduced my four star rating by one star.

But, I love the story's dynamics and the plot. And again I was very very biased when I rated it.

So let me start off my saying that I have never felt the need to write a review so badly until I came across the is "book". Everything starts out okay.Unless you count the fact that in every paragraph the main character is constantly complaining about freedom. Or how she is now an adult and can talk care of her self.(Which doesn't sound very adult at all. Grown-ups don't feel the need to repeat to everyone they are an adult.)

So this book is starting to seem like it's going to be a did not finish for me because of the one person you are suppose to like in a story. The MAIN CHARACTER, TAYLOR. Here is a list of my many problems with Taylor.

1. Hypocrite. She gets mad a the lead male, Sin, for not letting her explain her self and leaving. Which is fine and a very valid reason to be upset with someone. But when reading this story, we see various instances were Taylor gets so hurt by Sin and leaves with no explanation. Oh my god lady, if this is some much of a relationship barrier then why are you consonantly doing it to Sin?

2. Very indecisive. One minute she could never forgive Sin for what he has supposedly done then the next minute she is complain that she's all alone and only Sin can make her happy. Wow, so you are saying you had the chance to be happy with someone but ruined. She has the nerve to go around crying about it, and expecting everyone to feel sorry for her.

3. The smallest things make her the most angry. So a short list of actions Sin did throughout the story. He went on another date after taking Taylor's virginity, get's angry and possessive if she talks to other guys, doesn't let her explain her POV, leaves when she doesn't open up (when he just spilled his heart out to her), left when he found a file with a background check on him in her room, and has forced to become a drug dealer at a young age to support and protect himself. Of this list only two things almost broke up what little relationship they had. Sin leaving (which she did many times) and him being a drug dealer. Now i'm not saying it's okay to be a drug dealer, but really? The people who killed my parents were high and Sin is a drug dealer obviously the two are connected and i must have another breakdown. But only for one day then I'll talk to him like a rational adult I claim to be.

4. Very careless. No common sense for someone with such a tragic back story. In the first Chapter Taylor drinks something from someone she doesn't know, but we are expected to forgive her since she is so shelter and had no idea. But then later in the book Taylor is being stalker. She hears someone following her up the steps and someone steals her underwear then puts in on her bed with a note. But does Taylor tell anyone? No! She decides to through all the evidence away because she an adult and no one is going to talk her freedom away. If her brother found out he would get her a bodyguard and that just isn't an option. Who needs safety when you can have freedom?

I could rant for days about this book and how terrible the may character is but I shall stop here. Taylor is not someone I would ever want to read about again. The only reason I even finished this book is because of the supporting characters and that's the only reason I've give this book two stars. Good luck Sin dealing with all of Taylor's crap.

It took me three days to finish this. THREE DAYS! And I even skipped in the end.

There is actually not a lot to say about this book. Naive, good girl meets inked, and pierced badboy. They have a sex arrangement and that‘s about it. The stalker drama was a bit ridiculous and just a device for the mcs to get back together.

The characters were bland. They had a tragic childhood and that‘s it. And we don‘t even know what happened back then until way later.

Also, I don’t get the reason why the h was so naive. Yeah, her brother sheltered her, but only after she found/kinda witnessed her parents being murdered at the age of nine. Doesn‘t seem natural at all.

The writing could use some work. The story didn’t flow but felt rather chopped instead.

So i came across the book from Episode. While playing the game, i was instantly hooked. Now if you're gonna play the game, just a thought - occasionally the characters call you Tay as the books main character is named Taylor. Not really a bother, just an occasional laugh considered i was named Genesis in the game. Anyways, i'm almost half way thru the game, and so i decided to read the book first not to spoil it. While the game is really enjoyable and Sin makes you wait, I felt it was rushed in the book? Like they had sex like 30 pages in. Which i usually wouldn't mind considering I like to spend my days reading Dramione fanfiction. But like, it just felt rushed? And i'm sorry but the smut wasn't really that great. It was like 2 pages of disappointment. I found myself going back because i was like "That's it"? It felt like reading Prim's death in the hunger games all over again. Completely rushed. It wasn't all bad though. They had sex a bunch, but the only time that really sticks out was the bathroom. But even then it wasn't good. Also I get it's supposed to be sentimental but he's like "Sorry i was rough" like six times and everytime Taylor's like no you weren't.. LIKE BRO QUIT ASKING SHE LIKES IT OBVS. OR UR NOT THAT ROUGH IDK. CONTEX CLUES SIN. Anyways the characters themselves were likable enough. Like I def wanted them together. But i also felt like with all the leading up to their pasts.. it was lackluster? I mean i'm not saying they had perfect pasts but nothing was really shocking. I was half hoping it would turn supernatural and that maybe Taylor had inadvertently killed her parents from a blast of power or something. I mean i understand not wanting to put all their business out there but.. It was a break in and murder. I don't really see the point in her lying and saying it was a car accident. I understand she didn't want people looking her up or whatever but I just feel like all the lying she did was pointless. I'm not saying that these bad things that happened to her aren't horrible but it just kind of fell flat. The same for Sin. Really dude? You didn't want her to know about the selling drugs because the guys said they were on drugs? I'm sorry that's such a stretch. It would've made more sense if it was just because he was ashamed of it. Or if Taylor had a history of drug abuse, or if her parents had OD'd or something. I just feel like that's such a strange connection. It would've been different if Sin had ended up being the dealer for her parent's murders (queue hunger games once again, still think it's dumb that she tried to come for Gale as if it was his idea?? Bih whet???) but it wasn't. Sin had to sell drugs to survive. People do a lot of things they don't have to when they need to. Also while i definitely understand his initial upset when she had the file.. it just felt rushed for them to forgive each other. Both fights were super rushed. Taylor and Sin barely know each other!!! And they were just so quick to be like okay you're right as if there wasn't the possibility that the other person was oh.. i don't know .. LYING???? never mind the fact that sin LITERALLY DID LIE. He told Taylor that Connor told him about their past, and she spends the next chapters fuming at her brother. Ignoring his calls and all that. And then she never even apologizes or reconciles with her brother. They're just okay again at the end. I mean it's good that he came thru and was like yeah no i looked you up - yay honesty - but c o m e o n. Another thing i prefer in the game is you just see more of the other characters. But I'm also not sure if the episode game came out after the second and third book were out. I love Jordan, Charmaine's a bit annoying but she's a refreshing character. And she's intentionally annoying, not a character that's supposed to be a good main character that just ends up pissing everyone off (aka mary sue). My last grievance.. THEY GET ENGAGED AT THE END? Don't get me wrong. I'm a hopeless romantic. I love when my ships get married and have kids and all that. But Taylor and Sin had been together for 6 months at this point. And he suddenly just pops the question in front of their whole ass friends and family group like what. The whole book was just super rushed. And i'm not gonna lie i found it super cliche the whole "Sin is rich and you don't have to work or anything" thing. Money runs out eventually. I also don't feel like a character who's so used to working hard would be able to just not do anything. I feel like Sin would get bored lol (maybe that's why they have all the parties).

BACKTRACKING AGAIN. Eric??!! I guess you could say it was a twist but it was another thing that just seemed like a stretch! He became obsessed with her because she survived. As if her brother didn't literally survive. I just feel like the book is just full of random things that are supposed to be connected but they're all just really random things that really don't link and are just forced together.

I'm not saying the book is shit. The writing wasn't that great and it really felt rushed. But it wasn't that bad. The characters were entertaining. I'm still kind of curious about Matt and Slater, and kind of eyeing the next books. But i'm also glad this book was free (kindle OP) or i would've been annoyed i paid for it. I'm probably not going to reread it. I might read the next ones if i can get them free.

I can’t really understand the mechanism of this book, how the story could be so compelling and heartwarming, yet the writing and vocabulary so poor and stilted. I liked the journey I went through reading the story with all the heartbreak, drama, chemistry, fear and love. I should have completely fell head over heels in love with Loving bad and in some ways I did. The writing however, kind of put a damper on things.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read from Regan Ure and as I’ve noticed from earlier books she is amazing with building up a complex story, place some twists and turns along the way and keep me as the reader one hundred procent invested from start to finish. That is what a good book should be, right? But even though my heart was in the story, it also meant that the writing annoyed and bothered me so so much more. This author really needs to work on her vocabulary because everywhere I read the same words used over and over. For example there was a lot of “revealed”, “started/began”, “cryptically”. Worst of all was all the repetitive sentences and conversations. Taylor had the exact same conversation with Slater as she had with Sin. With the exact same specific questions and answers. And she kept explaining that she loved her brother but found him overbearing and overprotective. In. Every. Single. Chapter. Even the sex scenes were all too similar, the main characters inner thoughts and dialog the same. Pro tip; have you written it once then you don’t need to write it ten more times. Two times is fine at most. If that.

As much as I loved the romance and connection between Taylor and Sin, I also found it in some ways plain and bareboned. In the beginning it was mostly about sex and attraction, which is to be expected because of the plot. However, as the story goes on and they start to fall for each other they also should have formed a more emotional bond as well. Sure, that’s what Regan Ure tried to convince us was happening when she wrote that they “talked about everything and nothing”. Here’s the thing though, if we readers aren’t a part of the dialogue (that’s to say if some of the dialogues isn’t written out, but rather recapped or just mentioned) then we aren’t going to be convinced or even believe that there is this “amazing relationship” between them. That’s not to say there weren’t any written out conversation at all, but the dialogues that were, were either inessentially shallow or awkwardly written. So that did not give me much anyway. Plus, on several occasions Sin called Taylor stupid. And she did not even react. What the hell was that about?

As much as the writing did bug me I just couldn’t help liking this book. I don’t understand why even, but there’s just something in it that made this book a page turner. If only the writing weren’t so repetitive this might actually have been a five star story.

I am giving this book a low 4 out of 5 stars. This review may be a little bias because I was first introduced to this story on Episode and fell in love with it immediately.

After reading the book, I still love this story. I love that although there is an undeniable chemistry between Sin and Taylor, they still realize relationships are something that have to be worked on continuously. I love the other characters including Jordan, Slater, Matthew, and even Connor. I love the background stories of both Taylor and Sin (I wish we could have learned more about Sin’s past) and how they are affected by it today. I won’t lie to you, some parts of this book were cheesy (especially the ending) and exaggerated, but I overall enjoyed the plot.

My criticism of this book and the reason I am giving it a low 4 stars is due to the actual writing of the story. I felt that some of the writing was poorly done. I found the sentences and use of certain words to be a little repetitive. I also had to read some sentences over a few times because there were several grammatical errors.

Once again a nice and easy to read story about a good girl who falls in love with a bad guy. Both are troubled with their pasts and in the end bad guy seems to be not so bad and saves the good girl.

Although I enjoyed reading this book and really like this kind of stories, I was a bit disappointed. This book contained not only the obvious ingredients for a romance, but also some suspense/who's -done-it aspects. If the author only made the effort to elaborate on these items, this story could have been so much more...

Spoiler alert!

I think I should have known that this one involves kidnapping and a psycho obssessed with the "fragile and scarred" heroine. As a Filipino who had to put up with lots of tv series that involves killings, kidnapping, and amnesia---used too frequently, you can say that I loathe any book that has that! So yeah, I am really disappointed. That, plus thr fact that the heroine is not so endearing...in my opinion, that is.

**4 STARS **
It may take a long bumpy, curvy road to find your ending place, but it’ll be worth it.
Taylor’s been trying to out run her past but can’t escape the hellish nightmares that plaque her from all those years ago. That one night stole her innocence, changing the outcome of her future. Her life will never be the same again. Especially with her over bearing-protective brother.
All grown up, Taylor wants a chance at a normal life. To experience college, make her own decisions and face whatever consequences it may bring.
Sin being one of those.
Sin. Mr. Man-whore. #1 bad boy on campus. Always a different girl. No repeats.
They meet during a weekly party thrown by Sin & his roommates.
She propositions him to take what she’s so desperately determined to get rid of.
Rejection makes the determination grow.
Flaunting what another person wants can bring out different sides to a person.
Meaning Sin. He doesn’t share, becomes jealous and jumps to his own conclusions.
He has his reasons for being the way he is.
However an undeniable connection sparks between the two leading to yet another proposition.
“No feelings, just sex, and when it ends we walk away.”
The sex scenes are insanely HOT & passionate. No holds bard.
Unable to keep her hands off the bad boy, she’s lost to any other man.
Both want more than one night. With exclusivity.
“Sometimes there is more to a person than what’s written on paper “
Taylor becomes the one and only to tame this sexy, tatted bad boy.
During this, a series of incidents happen to Taylor causing her to relieve her horrific past.
Both with pasts & secrets which always have a way of surfacing. And when it does, everything comes to a screeching halt.
“She named me Sin so she would always remember how I came into this world.”
Sins became Taylor’s savior on more than one occasion…. Does he have it in him to be that one more time?? Hopefully the last?
This is Taylor & Sins story of a bunch of firsts. Finding love. Understanding & keeping it. It’s passionate, heartfelt, and overcoming all obstacles in the name of love.
