On Borrowed Time is the twenty-sixth book in the Beginnings Series.
While Beginnings somewhat enjoys Frank as president, all good things come to an end. Joe is back. His immediate return to leadership forces a change in plans for the war on the horizon. Not only does Beginnings need to prepare for invading foreign forces, they must face and change a future filled with LEPs.
Before all that, one small problem exists for Frank. Someone in Beginnings wants him dead and will stop at nothing to make it happen.
Jacqueline Druga once again has left me wanting more of Beginnings. It is truly a series that should be started from the beginning, to have it all fit. You will go on a journey like no other with the folks of beginnings. The start of this book made me cringe a little, oh ok a lot! (Eewwww). Then other parts had me actually laughing out.
I'm on book #26 and this is one of my favorite book series! I had a difficult time getting past all the typos and punctuation issues but it was worth it. This author is incredibly imaginative and creates great characters and story lines. Needless to say, I have invested months of reading and don't regret a minute.
This story is still the best I have read since the Dune series. It gets weird at times but hey it's Beginnings. I am on to the next book in the series.
I can't help it...I love Frank. When I first started reading this series, I had no idea I would still be enjoying it 26 books later. Nice storyline, apocalypse of course, but it's the characters that make this work. They are really well defined, some quirky, some extremely smart & others just funny. Thanks Jackie...as always, a wonderful read...
26 books. There are 26 books published in this series (so far)....if you've read this far, you KNOW that Beginnings is an awesome and absorbing series.
This book is no exception. On Borrowed Time is a solid addition to an already fantastic series. I can't wait for the next book!
