Katie is the eldest daughter in an Amish family. She has a younger sister, Mary, that has recently become bedridden due to a freak accident. Katie has now devoted her entire life to taking care of her. But Mary soon grows increasingly bitter and Katie struggles to cope. Complicating things is a young man who now takes a shine to the Katie after exploring the world outside the Amish community. Can Katie fulfill her obligation to Mary while still finding love?

Young love

I enjoyed reading about young love . Katie was so ready to no long have to care for Mary,and get on with her life.

Before I could even get my thoughts involved, it was over. I understand sibling rivalry but I thought the angst between Mary and Katie was so childish...and yet I'm sure realistic. I'm sure this book is geared for a younger audience. The recipe for the peach cobbler and potato salad would have been good.

If this was the entire book, was too short. I wanted more and haven't found it.

Wow! I loved it!

I liked this romance immensely! Did Mary stay out in the world or did she come back to the community? There were some typos but it didn't change the story! Excellent writingm
