This is a 33,000 words (around 200 kindle pages) CLEAN stand-alone story with an HEA, so no cliff-hangers! Two lesbians adopt a child. They are thrilled to finally have their dream come true, but there is underlying jealousy between the two women when it comes to raising their child. They have concerns about how to raise a transgender child.
Problems escalate as the child goes to grammar school and eventually high school, but the really difficult issues do not emerge until their adoptive child goes to college. They no longer have the ability to watch over their child first hand and worry about their lack of control.
The adoptive child struggles with identity issues. Two friends try to help the young adult emerge as a mature person, but the adoptive mothers continue to interfere.
All ends as it should, depending on the reader’s perspective, but all in all, God’s will once again prevails.
