‘Start with Why’ is a book written by Simon Sinek. ‘What is so special about this book’, someone may ask. Well, inside the book the author, Mr. Sinek speaks about success. But when he speaks about success, he does not speak in the usual ‘follow these steps to achieve anything you want’ way. Sinek uses slightly different approach that readers may find in some other literature of the same type.
Excellent premise and actually the very first premise that the author uses to lead us into his book is a premise that contains one simple word- why. Why some people reach certain threshold of success and some do not? Why do some teams manage to ‘team-up’ and endure the challenge thus succeeding while others fail in doing so? What is that it makes some people different when it comes to achieving success from others? The entire book revolves around that question word. But outstanding fact about it, which eventually leads to even more outstanding conclusion and many answers on this simple question, is that there is an answer on it. Sinek uses many examples from real life and from people, which he either knew or had researched about their lives and how they managed to succeed. By using these examples not only that the author shows to his readers that if others can so can we but when it comes to practical answers to ‘why’ the author invests significant effort into finding all the answers.
