Companion Novel to Other Side of Beautiful (A Beautifully Disturbed Novel)

Collin Pratt only does hookups. Ever. Love hurts. In fact, it kills. Literally.

He hooks up, because well, a man has needs, but he'll never be more than a hot piece of ass. At least not if he can help it.

Kip Daniels doesn't get off on one night stands. He believes in love and family, and wants them both for his life. When he meets Collin, he's sure he's met the man to share his life with. He just has to convince Collin of this fact.

Beautiful, I laughed and cried. I never wanted it to end.
Collin lost his first love and never wanted to go down that road again. He was beaten for being gay. He never hid it after but he never put it out there either.
Kip has never been in the closet. After meeting Collin all he wanted was to be with him.
It was not easy. I felt my heart break at one time.

Best line ever....

when I’d ripped his heart out from my chest.

Kip just changed college and moved far away from home. He meets Collin when Collin needs to give him a tour at school. Collin and Kip spend a lot of time together at school and Kip has feelings for Collin. Collin also thinks that Kip is different, but he doesn’t want a relationship. Kip is hurt when Collin rejects him.

Collin can’t forget Kip and misses him after a few days so he contacts Kip again. Kip is happy to hear from Collin, but he does decide to take things slow with him. Kip takes Collin out of his comfort zone and that’s not always easy for Collin. Collin tries for Kip, because he does want to be with him.

Collin was sometimes difficult to love, but he was amazing at the end. He’s damaged. He has dealt with a lot of hate and hurt because of his sexuality. He lost the man he loved and never really recovered from that. He has friends that accept him like he is. I sometimes was frustrated that he kept Kip pushing away, but I also understood him when everything was explained.

I loved Kip. Kip is confident, smart, caring and sweet. Kip is the man that Collin needs, because he’s very patient with Collin. He would do anything for Collin. I loved Kip and Collin together the most. A beautiful love.

I also loved the secondary characters. There is Kip’s family. Kip loves his family and is very close to them. They miss him now that he moved away, but they support him. They accept his sexuality. It’s amazing how close he is to his sister. I loved their bond. Collin’s friends are also amazing. I’m hoping there will be a story about Ben and Elle.

I loved this book. I received an AR for my honest review. I i can truly say is that I love how the characters went through so much to grow and learn what they needed and what was best for them.

Kip needed a change in scenery so he changed colleges and started over but he was always comfortable in his own skin and was used to having an exclusive relationship with men. he didn't hide his relationship. Kip loves his family and is very close to them. They miss him now that he moved away, but they support him. They accept his sexuality
Collin on the other hand has a had a hard time being comfortable when it came to dating outside the bed room and being with someone for longer than a few months, because of the people in his home town not being excepting of gay men. Collin’s friends are also amazing and care about him deeply and they are there for him always especially Ben who has been there for him since the beiniing . Ben brother and Collin were dating and in love until tragedy struck.
I love that kip never intentionally gave up on Collin and realized that Collin needed to see past his troubled past and learn to love again

I really enjoyed this book it shows another side of struggles and love

What can I say? I love Collin and Kip. Sure sometimes I wanted to punch Collin in the throat but it just made the pay off that much better.

This is a great continuation of the series.

The characters are so beautifully juxtaposed... strong yet delicate. You just can't help but root for these two! Great story, amazing characters! I fell in love with this book!
