Iris Abbott brings her heartwarming and sexy Metal Cowboys series to a close with a wounded former Army Ranger, the sweet girl of his dreams, and the dangerous threat that brings them together.
A self-proclaimed bookworm, Camille Stone, leads a boring life. Until the night someone tries to break into her home. Suddenly, Joel Fisher is back in her life, and things go from dull to electrifying in a heartbeat.
It’s taken Joel ‘Titanium’ Fisher over two years to get his life together and move on from the life-altering injury that caused him to lose part of his leg. Now that he’s healed, he wants to win Camille Stone’s heart. Her sweetness and vulnerability bring out his protective side. Now that she’s in danger he’ll do whatever it takes to makes sure they have a future together.
*Can be read as a standalone, but Titanium is better enjoyed as part of the Metal Cowboys series.*
This is the story of Camille and Joel/Titanium. Joel is a veteran who lost part of his leg in combat and has taken a couple of years to come to terms with that loss. Camille is a self confessed book worm who owns the local book store. When she hears someone trying to break into her home she calls on the Metal Cowboys. Joel is extremely fascinated with Camille and would do anything to protect her from anyone who would attempt to harm her.
There is a mystery as well as a love story in this, the final book in the Metal Cowboys series. Iris Abbott has done a wonderful job of linking each of the Metal Cowboys together and yet in their own story. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series.
This is Joel's book or the now Titanium. He had battled hard with his amputation and grown stronger. Camille calls her friend when someone breaks into her house. What she gets is the whole shebang of Metal Cowboys protection but she only wants one man Joel
Fate or destiny, it doesn't matter, Joel and Camille were meant to be. I loved the mystery of this story. Especially loved the epilogue. Great end to a great series.
