A short, quick and sexy novella. Violet and Will have awesome chemistry and I enjoyed Will’s pursuit of Violet the con artist.

This novella was described as quick and dirty and I'd like to confirm that as accurate! Not only was it a fast smutty read, but it had an interesting plot that I personally haven't read much of before. It's a novella so it's not extensively explored, but the whole con-artist and the detective was very fun to read.
Told through the POV's of Will and Violet, and wow their insta-attraction is HOT! The naughty bits are shocking, and the story is extremely well written.
Highly recommend this read if you're looking for an interesting short read with a bit of smut!

Quick and dirty. I liked it. Not what I was expecting, but it was an original storyline!! EDIT: I was discussing with a few others and decided this book is actually next level hotness with a great plot packed into a short novella, which isn't often done. So FIVE STARS.

This is a sexy little novella about Detective Will Furey, who is on the tail of Violet D'Allegra, a woman who has made a name for herself by blackmailing rich men with sex.
The characters are very well developed in a short space of time, which takes real talent. Kathryn is great at writing sexy shorts that draw you in immediately.
If you like something steamy and well written, then look no further. Oh, and by the way...do leave your inhibitions at the door. 5 stars.

Filthy, dirty Detective
I loved this book! Red hot passion between characters I suspect I shouldn't like. But oh, did I ever like these two. I didn't want it to end! You think you might know what should happen by the end, but you aren't sure. Will the good detective go bad, will the con artist go straight, will she evade him, will he catch her, will she let herself be caught, will he let her slip away? These questions left me breathless, racing to find the answer. Kathryn Nolan is my newest one click author.

What a fantastic debut book. Really enjoyed this novella.
Action packed and full of just the right amount of dirty fun.

Sharp, Smart, and Sexy!!!
Detective Will Furey is a good man and a good cop. He's on the trail of Violet, a smart woman and a sexy con artist.
Cuffed is a novella packed with imagery, action and emotion. It is lusty and addicting from start to finish and I absolutely recommend it.

I was told this was going to be a quick, hot f*&%...and that is exactly what it was. But, you know what? I actually believed the characters, I believed their motivations, and I believed they would act as they did. Was it a little twisted and a little messed up? It sure was...but that was most of the fun.
Will and Violet are similar creatures, they want similar things and, once they are with one another, realize that what they want is to figure out a way that they work. As the blurb mentions, they do actually figure this out.
This was a first novel by Kathryn Nolam and it was very well constructed. The writing is strong, and it flows well. The dialog sounds authentic, which is a pet peeve of mine when it isn't, so I really notice when it works. The story ARC, while quick as it was a novella, was also believable with pacing that worked for the story that was being told as well as the length.
I look forward to the next work by this author and I recommend this one.

This book was quick, dirty/smutty, and with a little twist.Caught me right from the beginning with its interesting plot and characters. From the brginning you get a feeling that this book is going to be a little dark which amazed me and made me love even more.
Violet D'Allegra is a con artist.
Will Furey is the detective assigned to go after her.
After eight months on the prowl after her. Something shifts and they both notice. They can't deny their attraction anymore and give in. And MAN do they! Their chemistry was red hot and Will is the sexiest mofo detective after. The story gripped me until the end and was left me filled with questions. I wish it was longer because I couldn't get enough. But everything was perfect and made as real as possible. Kathryn you did a hell of job.
I absolutely enjoyed this book and cannot wait what more this author will bring.

Cuffed is a quick, dirty little read just like advertised! Detective Will Furey is trying to get enough evidence on Violet D'Allegra to arrest her for extortion. She knows he's there watching her and she decides to push him to his limit. Will has a dark and dominant personality and pushes right back.
This was a steamy little read. The attraction between Will and Violet is intense and builds quickly. This is great for a quick afternoon read, but be prepared for a sexy read!

Someone recommend Kathryn to me so I one clicked this novella just to get a feel for her writing and OH MY GAWD! Holy hotness! This was majorly steamy, smart and gritty! I loooooooved it so much! I'll definitely grab more of her books.

Detective Will Furey has had his eye on Violet D'Allegra for months. She's a femme fatale con artist who targets wealthy men, seduces them, and blackmails them before moving on to her next mark. Will is close to gathering enough evidence to make an arrest, but the longer he watches Violet, the more fixated on her he becomes.
Will has been a straitlaced cop for many years. His growing fascination with Violet is out of character for him, but there's just something about her that draws him in.
Violet is mysterious, tough, and blunt. I think it's safe to say that she's a maneater. She doesn't get attached from one con to the next; she manipulates men, gets them to pay up, and moves on without looking back.
Violet is aware that Will is on her trail and pretty soon, she's fascinated in her own right. When Violet's latest con goes astray, Will moves in to make his arrest. But now that he's close enough to touch Violet, he's no longer content to stay at a distance.
Since this is a novella, there's a lot of emotion condensed down and I would have loved to get into the characters' heads just a bit more so that I fully understood their back stories. Before they meet, the scenes with Violet and Will are ripe with sexual tension. After that, the smoking hot sexy times begin. The conclusion of the story is one I didn't expect, but it seems fitting at the same time.
I really enjoyed the author's writing style and look forward to reading more from her in the future. I strongly recommend Cuffed.

Cuffed is a very powerful debut which, in it's shortness hits various great highlights.
Nolan manages to introduce two complex, highly flawed, and thus so very interesting characters, with an unconventional story. These "heroes" aren't upstanding, law-abiding citizens, they are cop and outlaw, brought together over strong sexual tension.
Their story is one of cat and mouse, spiced up by some semi-public sex acts, performing for the other, which makes them so incredibly hot.
The writing zings and keeps you fascinated, on the edge of your seat at what will be next.
My only critique would be that it ended somewhat abruptly, but I cannot wait to see more of this author and her first full-length novel coming out soon.

This steamy novella will knock your socks off! This was the debut of Kathryn Nolan. Con artist Violet knows she's being tailed by a cop. Will doesn't want to be the good cop anymore. Will is a Dominant with no Submissive in his life. Violet needs to submit but has never had the opportunity. Cuffed delivers it all with an interestingly twisted happy ending.

Cuffed is the first I have read of Kathryn Nolan but it definitely won't be the last. This short novella is sexy, hot and truly erotic but also has a clever plot that grips you from the opening pages.
Violet is a con-artist - swindling rich men out of their hard-earned cash. And Will is the police officer assigned to track Violet down and bring her in.
The problem is both are incredibly attracted to one another - something that can't bode well for either of their chosen professions.
Violet:
"He was a problem and it took me weeks to admit I liked it. I liked having his eyes on me. I liked knowing he watched."

"She was a thing of beauty. I wanted her even then–to be tempted by her. To be played."
Be prepared for sexual tension that is off the charts and hot scenes that will have you reaching for something to cool you down.

Not crazy about ending
This book was super hot and I loved it right up until the ending. If you dont like OM when not in a menace a trois or more then you won't want to read this. I could understand it when he was tailing her before they met, but later was just yucky. I could see a cop doing what he did when he was supposed to arrest her for love. I got that. Everything after that was just weird and not really understandable for a guy that spent 10 years as a good honest upstanding cop. Spoiler ahead: I could understand him leaving his job to be with her. What I can't understand is him becoming a criminal himself. Yeah, I really wish any reviewer word have told me this. I would not have wasted my money.

This was a super quick novella about a detective (Will) trying to track down Violet, a woman who dates wealthy married men and blackmails them in exchange for keeping quiet about their affair.
The sex scenes in this novella were really hot, and I really felt the chemistry between Will and Violet. The only thing I would change about this novella is the ending. In the ending, Will and Violet are in a relationship, but she is still working as a con artist by sleeping with and blackmailing men, while Will helps her do it. I was hoping for an ending where they both retire and live happily ever after, rather than an ending where she's still sleeping with other men🤦♀️

This couple is Bonnie and Clyde on Viagra. Will is the cop that has been tailing violet for a while and she is really enjoying him watching her. This is a short and Erotica read in just a couple of hours, but it is Kindle melting HOT! I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this couple I am a Texas girl and I can appreciate a little Bonnie and Clyde action that ensues towards the end. It is really a fantastic, fun, afternoon read! You do not want to miss this! Worth every single one of my 99 Pennies!

To be honest, I'm not a fan of neither erotica nor novellas, and this is both things in one ... however, after liking the author's full-length novel (Riptide), I wanted to read all books of hers given she's a relatively new author. This one was a bit different with twisted characters/storyline. Not my thing, but I think fans of erotica would enjoy it.
