Nothing Even Matters
Love has a funny way of working, and once it takes hold of you, it's hard to let go. Zuvhir isn't looking for love in the slightest. Yet, when he runs up on Sage, he can't get her off his mind no matter how hard he tries. Having lost everyone that ever meant something to him has caused him to keep his guard up. His need to protect her is instantaneous and he vows to do just that; even if the means protecting her from himself. When Sage meets Zuvhir, she's thrown off by his insistence that he wants nothing to do with her. You couldn't pay her to believe that their attraction wasn't mutual. Eventually, the normally reserved Sage finds herself stepping outside of herself in pursuit of him, unable to shake the feeling that he belongs in her life. Once Sage wears him down, Zuvhir opens himself up to love with only one request; Sage can't leave him. A rare love blossoms between the pair and even their ex's can't come between the rock solid bond they have forged. But when the couple is hit with some unfortunate news right at the height of their relationship, will it threaten their happily ever after? All love is not meant to last. Is that the case with Zu and Sage? Or will they beat the odds and get their fairy tale ending?

Beautifully written, I just loved Zu & Sage's relationship. Sage was a determined woman & I'm glad it worked to her advantage. Zu wasn't lying when he said his luck was bad...WOW! Great storyline with likable characters & whew-that ending!

Omg!
This book was short and amazingly good! Zu is not the typical dude and I loved that. Sage is such a lovable person. The ending had me shocked I hope sage is ok. On to part 2.

Sage girl....
I hate Sage and Zu had to go through what they did but I’m sure they’ll figure this out. I dislike how Sage pulled away from her love ones to deal with her health instead of just being honest. Loved this book though!

I really enjoyed reading this story. I could not believe that I read the entire story in one day. I can not wait to read part 2 to see what happens to Zu and Sage😁

First time reading Bri Noreen work and I'm a new fan. Sage and Zu relationship is what every girl dreams of. I can't wait to read part 2 cause their love story is just getting started and it can end like that.

Nothing Matters for Sure
This was a nicely told urban love story. Zuvhir.. love his name by the way- was determined to not fall for Sage. Sage was hellbent on having Zu in her life. She was his future, or so she thought. Zu used to run the street as a gangster until his entire family died as a result of his old lifestyle. He vowed never to love again. He was doing just fine until Sages persistent nature reeled him in and rolled him over. The back story with their friends Zeek, Freak ,Hope and Rae added Humph to the story. Rae was crazy as hell, and Zeek cracked me up.. The urban edge to the story with the frequent N word usage was the only complaint for the story. I liked that Zu was wealthy and had given up his old life. His Alpha Male side was just enough to keep the story interesting. His panting wetting image was clearly visible through the authors words. The first story ends with a cliffhanger, but book two picks up at the end of book one, no need to fret. A good read.

Who says the man has to always chase the woman?!? In this story the Woman goes after the Man she wants but not without the possibility of rejection. Past heartbreak and lost loved ones blows caution to the wind for Zuv. For Zur love is not a priority, he'd rather have a slice and keep it moving. Presistenacy from Sage however consumes all of that, and this gentle thug finds himself on a differnet journey. Ex-loves and triflin family member tried their hand at ending this love affair, but some heartbeats are stronger than others. A road trip, crazy friends and a night of vandalizing brings on a night of passion that you will never forget and have to wait on part 2 to find out what happens...dammit!!!

Girl...
Loved this book Zuhvir was everything!! It didn't have all of the killing and baby mama drama all throughout it and was still a great urban book. Their chemistry was off the charts and Zuhvir was fighting it like crazy but Sage wasn't having it and wore him down. I'm hoping we've seen the last of Domonik and Slice even though she didn't do shit I'm got my eyes on her. India too. Raegan, Zeek, Freak and Hope were a hot ass mess lol, especially for the painting with a twist date. I just know that Sage doesn't have what I think she has, I hope it doesn't cause Zuhvir to pull back. Can't wait for part 2, all in all I would recommend this was a great book.

I loved this book. I loved how it was the opposite of a lot of books. Sage had to go after Zu and show him that he was worthy of having love too. I like how Zu learned his lesson from his previous relationship and applied it to this one. He didn't rush into sex and he took his time to get right mentally. The other couples were great as well. It's nice to see that seek was laying off his Thot baby momma. I wonder what's wrong with Sage because that ending has you like WTF!!! I'm ready for part 2.

Good Stuff
This was such a refreshing story of life after and the things that happen as a result.This was a story with good solid character development and the scenes where told as if your could picture being there are it happening.In this story your are going to get characters you are going to love and you are going to cheer.This was a good solid story that was not only funny but it was sexy cool.

Perfect imperfect love
In this book, I think Zu made us all fall in love.. He was so kind and he meant when he loved he loved hard.. Sage wanted to show Zu that he was worthy and she did that.. Nice
It was a nice story I liked how it flowed without all the back and forth from cheating type of drama. Sage seen something or shall I say someone she wanted and went for it. Sure was a stand up guy and I liked how he took control over some of the situations that came their way. I can't wait for part two.

Excellent
I couldn't put this book down. I love Sage and Zu relationship and I love how the Author didn't make Sage another pretty model girl. I really loved this book. It's not like the average urban books you. I just hope Sage will be okay because Zu don't need to lose anyone else.

Great
This was the first time reading a book by this author however this was a great read. I like that it was different and the love was jumping within this read between Sage and Zu . There was drama but not over the top just the right amount of drama to keep you tied to this book. I can't wait for pt 2.

Man I am floored
This book was fire from the beginning to the end. I hope Sage is alright because it is clear she has breast cancer. I hope she gets to experience true love with Zu because they were made for each other. I can't wait to read the next book.
