This book was very hot! I loved it and devoured it in one sitting. I was not put off by the rough sex, it was more dirty talk than pain and it worked for me.
So this is the story of Chloe and private investigator Jase who is secretly hired by her fiancé to get incriminating evidence against Chloe. Once Jace discovers her innocence, he is hired to seduce her so that her fiancé can use it against her and call off their engagement. Jase and Chloe forge a "friends with benefits" sort of arrangement where she explores rough and dirty sex. Jase is rough around the edges, but has a tender heart. He teaches Chloe a whole new meaning to the word sex! Chloe is the woman who’s occupying his bed and is slowly creeping into his heart. When the secrets are revealed, her trust is destroyed. Which means Jase is going to have to use all his skills to get himself out of the friend zone and into Chloe’s heart.
Roxy Sloane sure knows how to get the libido started! It's not often that you find an erotic author who also tells a beautiful contemporary love story but RS has done it yet again. It's no wonder she's so popular.

3 'Liars' Stars!
I saw Tempt Me as a freebie yesterday on Amazon and decided to give it a go! This is not my first book by Roxy Sloane (I really enjoyed The Seduction!) but I have to say, to me, it's not her best. I enjoyed it but not loved it.
Of course, the sexy times were super-hot (Roxy is good in that department lol) and Jase is a dirty dirty boy but I feel like I didn't connect much with the characters and their relationship. Jase is too full-of-himself and a serious manwhore!
Still, I am curious on how this will end (since it ended in a cliffhanger) so I am going to read Tease Me right now!

I had no idea what to expect since this was my first book by this author but I had the feeling it was going to be a good reading. And it definitely was. I devoured Tempt Me in one sitting. A total sexy page-turner.

This story runs like a stream, that joins the river that crashes fast and furiously toward Niagara Falls!! In other words, it's starts slowly, but once it gets going after about the 15% mark, it's super HOT!!
I'm a big fan of a dirty, DIRTY talker and WOW Jase delivers on that front!!
I'm pretty sure that I know where the stories going but I'll definitely enjoy the continuation of Chloe and Jase's story with the second part of this duet.

While I loved the Invitation Series (Ash is one of the hottest H's ever!) and the Submission Series I can't do this one. At 28% in I've had to read two detailed sex scenes between the H and OW. No, the H and h are not together BUT I still don't need to read about his exploits. I scanned thorough to the end and the end result of the twist was expected but not the person involved. I may scan through the second book just to see how much the H has to grovel but that's about it.
Oh! and condoms were never mentioned! The way the scenes were written indicated that there was NO protection used at all!!

Jase Branner is a dirty talking, woman pleasing, one night stand kind of guy. He doesn't get turned down ever. Until Chloe Archer. He can tell she wants him but she won't give in. She's engaged and does not cheat. And that is about all the book description your getting from me. I don't want to give anything away about the story. It's to much fun to go in blind and figure it all out as you read.
I loved both Jase and Chloe. They are both good characters and you won't be able to fully figure out everything about them. I like the mystery surrounding the two. They have sparks though that will leave you wanting more. Jase is the kind of man who backs up what that dirty mouth says. It makes for moments that will have your kindle melting in your hands.
Roxy Sloane never fails to deliver stories that alway bring the heat while leaving you with things to figure out. I so can not wait to see what happens in the second book Tease Me. Tempt Me is a definite must read.

To his surprise, Jase finds himself attracted to Chloe. She different from most women he’s come across. There’s something about her that pulls at him.
Chloe, feeling overwhelmed about her impending nuptials, can’t decide if she’s unsure about marrying Max, or if she’s just got cold feet. After meeting Jase, they strike up a flirty conversation. Ooooh I like this book! I am ashamed to say until now I haven't read any of Roxy Sloane's books, now that I have I will definitely be reading more.
You have got to love a dirty talking, hot, sexy man. Well I do, there's just something about filthy talk that really does it for me. Jase Banner is one of those men he is HOT!
Jase is a P.I and has been hired by someone to dig any dirt possible on a woman - Chloe Archer soon to be Mrs Mainwaring. What he doesn't bank on is the attraction between them.
Chloe thinks her fairy tale has come true, she is about to marry Max Mainwaring. I love Chloe she is so down to earth and honest and she just wants to please her new family to be. They are a family that nothing would please them it's all about status and how important they are. Chloe starts to wonder if she's doing the right thing. Jase and Chloe keep " bumping" into each other, and as much as Chloe would never cheat she can't help but have dirty thoughts about the lovely Jase. This makes her feel guilty enough so she couldn't possibly cheat!
What will Jase do when he finds out who hired him and why? Will Chloe succumb to the constant innuendos from Jase or will she stand her ground? I did think this was a great read and would recommend it, I'm going to dive straight in to book two!

Roxy Sloane is BACK! God it feels good to get lost in her words again, after not having them for what seemed like forever. And she is also back hotter than ever with the Temptation Duet... sure to make kindles everywhere steam and overheat.
I fell in love with Roxy a long time ago when she released her first book and I have been a loyal, eager fan since. And like all of her books, this newest duet was absolutely brilliant. I had the pleasure of reading them back to back... and let me tell you this... YOU do NOT want to miss out on meeting the naughty Jase.
Tempt Me is a the first in this scandalous new series. This book was so so good... fast, sexy, fun, passionate, intense, hella hot, and had one captivating storyline that hooked me from the first page. This book took me on a unforgettable journey full of ups, downs, secrets, lies, and lust.
Oh and meet your next book boyfriend... Jase, the man who will steal you heart... and panties.
I highly recommend this book.

I was pulled right into this story. This is a 2 part story so be prepared to get both parts. The story has laughs, suspense, secrets, naughty fun, and heartbreak.
This is the beginning of Chloe and Jase’s story. Jase is a PI. Chloe was a ballerina but she is selling real estate. She is with someone but is he the right one for her? The sparks fly from the beginning with these two. He’s a dirty talker. She can resist him right? Or is she just fooling herself? Add in a little suspense and you are in for a wild ride.
I recommend anything this author writes. You can’t go wrong when you pick up one of her books. I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

Wow Holy dirty talking batman!!
Jase is one dirty talking cocky,arrogant, sexy, British manwhore who you just can't help but fall in love with. And Chloe is this sweet,lost, adorable woman who always tells the truth but needs to find herself. This book will pull you in from the start you will not be able to put this book down. The characters are well developed and you feel like you know them there is a little myself involved and a whole lot of hotness!!!!! I actually have to admit this is my first Roxy Sloane book but it will not be my last I have a lot of catching up to do. And I highly recommend this book!

The chemistry between the main characters was very, very HOT. The sex was hard and rough and just what Chloe needed. Jase Banner is rides the fine line between arrogant and confident. He’s a glorious dirty talker, but more to the point, he’s good for Chloe. Her fiancé is undeserving of her and holds her back in many ways. I liked seeing her slowly realize she deserves more.
I didn’t get the full fireworks from the overall story, but it was still a decent story that’s captured my interest. After the cliffhanger, I really want to know what happens between Chloe and Jase. That’s exactly what Sloane does, she keeps you wanting more!

Tempt Me by Roxy Sloane was what I have to expect from a Roxy book. HOT, HOT and more HOT. Roxy’s books are always steamy with a H that is always swoon worthy. An H that is usually a alpha through and through and Jase was that from the very start. I read this book in one sitting, couldn't put it down while blushing a time or two.
Chloe is engaged to a very rich man. It was a whirlwind romance and now that the ring is on her finger she's having second thoughts. In comes Jase, he's someone she shouldn't feel anything for but why can't she stop thinking about him. She knows she'll feel guilty after but there's something about him that draws her to him.
Jase has been hire to get dirt on Chloe. He doesn't know who hired him but after finding no skeletons in her closest he closes the case quickly hoping to finally be rid of the tempting women. She's not like most of his usual women but that doesn't stop him from wanting her. When these two finally come together it's fireworks and anything goes.
Tempt Me had a little drama lots of hot sexy scenes and a hot alpha like no other. Can't wait to read the next book in the duet. Highly recommend this book if you're in the mood for sexy alphas and low drama. I was given this ARC for my honest opinion.

I've found that Roxy Sloane never disappoints. She writes dirty, twisted, and amazing stories. The beginning to the Temptation Due, TEMPT ME, is no exception. Jase Banner is a filthy-mouthed bad boy. I wanted to hate him, but I just couldn't. He's just so damn sinful. And then there's Chloe. She very well may be the only woman who could bring this smug, delicious bastard to his knees. She's the antithesis of him and of what he assumes every woman is like. The circumstances around them "meeting" is the perfect storm... of betrayal, lust, and possibly, just maybe love. But that will have to be determined in the follow-up TEASE ME. Which, hello? Can we talk about how aptly named that is? It's doing nothing BUT tease me for more.
Jase and Chloe aren't a match made in heaven. They're a match made in insta-lust. But real-life isn't so accommodating, with their needs and wants. Chloe becomes everything Jase never knew he wanted, and Jase becomes the same for her, but deception and heartbreak are in the cards, for the characters as well as the reader. But it's just hurts so good you'll be clamoring for the finale.
This is a fantastic read and gets the big thumbs up from me. Tempt Me by Roxy Sloane is a very hot romance with characters that ignite with chemistry, and a cliff-hanger ending that, even though I knew it was going to happen, still had me crying "no" and wanting book two in this duology as soon as possible.
Definitely a fast-paced read with the dual POVs of Jase Banner, a private investigator, who is hired by an anonymous client to investigate the new fiancée of businessman and socialite, Maxwell Mainwarings. What he expects will be a normal scoping out of dirt for another client turns out to be something completely unexpected in the honest and kind form of Chloe Archer.
Chloe Archer, a former ballerina with a past that still has scars, she has been swept up in a whirlwind engagement with Prince Charming. He good and steady and exactly what she needs to move on from her past. Though she has her insecurities and misgivings about Max's world of money, society, and family, she still feels that marrying Max is right. At least until Jase Banner steps into her path.
I enjoyed the story with its little twists and turns. It has has intrigue and definitely romance. Jase and Chloe are interesting characters and I liked every moment when they were together or even apart in their own thoughts. Also, the supporting characters added to the story as well, even the ones I wanted to punch on behalf of the main character!
I can't wait for the next installment to find out what happens and where Ms. Sloane takes these two characters next.
Overall, Tempt Me by Roxy Sloane is a great story with plenty of heat and story to make it a satisfying romance. I happily recommend.

It will never win any awards but functions well as a hot and sultry interlude to an otherwise mundane day.

Tempt Me from The Temptation Duet Books was a good little read. I wasn't sure how this was going to go at first, but I was pretty impressed with the overall story. This book is pretty heavy on the sex. It is dirty and explicit. However, the main story revolving around Chloe, her fiancé, Max, and Jase, gives the book more substance than you would expect after reading the first couple of chapters.
Chloe works for a real estate firm and has landed herself one of the most rich men in town. She is not attracted to Max for his wealth. In all reality, it is Max that has pursued the relationship. Chloe is a bit startled with her reaction to Jase, the sexy British man she meets at one of her property showings. She has an visceral attraction to this man. Despite knowing it is wrong, she can't help her bodies response. Unfortunately for Chloe, things are not as they seem. Jase didn't just happen to bump into Chloe at the showing. However, this is posing as a problem for Jase, because he has never been affected by a woman like he has by Chloe. What does this mean for Chloe and Max? What is going to happen when

Right from the very opening of the book we know that Jase loves women and sex but never a repeat. Chloe is engaged to Max Mainwaring, heir to the Mainwaring fortune and is blissfully happy. At least she thought she was but each encounter with Jase and his overt flirting and sexual innuendos has the glitter falling off her image of what she has with Max. Each overt sexual comment awakens a need inside her that she has never experienced before and slowly she realizes that perhaps Max isn't the one for her.
I loved this. I have been a big fan of Roxy's from the get-go but she is just getting better and better with each new book. The angst, the emotion, the perfectly placed cliffhanger. Yes, I said cliffhanger, but fear not, book two, Tease Me is due to release October 13, 2016. Enjoy!
