I love these Cruise ship mysteries. Millie is so cute and her relationship with the captain makes for a fun read. This murder involves a much-disliked electrician. He is not the nicest man, but the story of the investigation is another wonderful adventure. this is the seventh book of the series and each one has been such a joy to read.

Killer Karaoke is the seventh book in Hope Callaghan’s Cruise Ship Cozy Mystery series. Once again, Ms. Callaghan has written a well thought out and interesting mystery, with a good story line and excellent character development. The writing style flows smoothly and the book is an easy read. The mystery is carried on well throughout the entire book and there are enough twists and turns to hold the reader’s interest. Ms. Callaghan writes clean cozy mysteries featuring no gratuitous sex, violence, or foul language. I’m looking forward to reading the next installment in this series and seeing how the characters and their relationships continue to develop. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well-crafted cozy mystery.

Millie Sanders loves her job as Assistant Cruise Director on Siren of the Seas and her friends. Andy Walker, the ship’s Cruise Director and Millie’s boss, needs to have a stage and karaoke equipment set up before the ship sets sail and gets in an argument with a crewmember, Luigi Falco about priorities and the work Andy is requesting. When Luigi is electrocuted, Andy becomes the prime suspect. Millie knows Andy isn’t capable of killing anyone and even though the Head of Security, Dave Patterson, tells her to stay out of the investigation, she just can’t stand by and do nothing. She suspects Andy is being set up and while asking questions, learns that Luigi isn’t well liked among the staff and crewmembers. Millie’s worried about her relationship with Captain Nic Armati, senses something is bothering him and hopes they will be able to resolve whatever is troubling him. Millie and her friend, Annette Delacroix, are worried about their friend, Cat Wellington, and even though they are caught up in another murder investigation, still find the time to help Cat overcome a problem.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Killer Karaoke is # 7 in Hope Callaghan's Cruiseship series. Hope has once again created a fun cozy Christian mystery, she never disappoints.
Millie, who is the assistant Cruise Director, aboard the Siren of the Seas Cruiseship, always ends up in the middle of trouble but is usually able to come out a hero. In every book there is a new adventure, each one fun and exciting.
In this book Millie tries to help her friend overcome her fears, prove that her boss Andy is not a killer, & try to figure out how to keep Captain Aramti from transferring to another ship. There are many twists and turns in Millie's adventures that keep you wondering " What will happen next?"
I am on Hopes review team and in exchange for an honest review, I get her book free. I love her style of writing so it is a pleasure to review her books.

Millie is loving her job and the relationship with Captain Armati is really taking off. Things couldn't be better until Millie witnesses an argument between Andy and one of the electrical engineers. When that engineer is found dead they suspect Andy and haul him off to the brig.

She knows Andy did no such thing and gets the crew together to help find out what is going on. Then she learns the Captain has put in a transfer to another ship to save himself from a scandal. She learns this from Andy not the captain.

Can she clear Andy and find out what will happen with her and Nic?

Another great read and it was nice to see Nic and Millie have an up and down. I enjoy all the characters and learning more about each one.

Fantastic

Another great Cruise Ship Cozy Mystery from Hope Callaghan. Superb characters, location (on board a cruise ship) with laughter and mystery thrown in. Of course, Millie right in the middle of it.

Electrifying Adventure on the High Seas

Hope Callaghan weaves the elements of a suspenseful who done it mystery with whimsical characters into another delightful and fast moving cozy mystery. Millie Sanders increases her duties as she finishes her first eight month term as assistant cruise ship director. She darts from event to event making sure all activities are running smoothly. Running around a 11 deck cruise ship, she oversees or directs exercise classes, bingo, dance sessions and the new passenger participation event Killer Karaoke. How ironic that on the first night of this ill named event, loathsome Luigi was electrocuted. So many questions to be solved and answered, Who killed Luigi? Why is Captain Armati leaving Siren of Seas? Will Cat be cured of her phobia? The story's twists and turns keeps the reader guessing as how Hope Callaghan will solves the mystery. Received a copy for an honest review. An enjoyable who done it read!

As always, a great Cruise Ship cozy mystery which meets all the escapism requirements that you could want while you feel as though you're in the company of friends. This time round, Millie is tasked with upping the interest in the Karaoke competition, which involves moving it to a more central location on the ship. When one of the electricians, a quite unpopular man, gets electrocuted, fingers are pointed at Millie's boss, Andy, who was seen - and heard - arguing with the man shortly before he died. While Millie sets out to prove his innocence, she's also concerned by her boyfriend, Captain Armati, who seems to be leaving the ship for pastures new but with there being no logical reason to explain him doing so. What will this mean for Millie's and his relationship?
Another enjoyable murder mystery and plenty of fun and some touching moments as Millie ponders her future with the captain.

As with earlier books in the series, a fun read

Not a realistic book in all the details, but the people are mostly likeable, and the interpersonal relationships interesting. So what if the author is not an electrical engineer, and her descriptions of how electricity works are vague and confusing. Something similar to what she describes could have happened, just do not ask her for advice if you need to rewire your house. But what she described is close enough to reality that her lack of knowledge about technical details does not make the plot unworkable, just as her errors about spiders did not change the essential elements of the first story in this series. The author is writing stories that center around people, and the author knows how to write well about people.

Complete mystery in a cozy mystery!!!

I really enjoyed this book by Hope Callaghan! The description of the ports that the cruise ship stops at and the events that take place on board the ship put dreams in my mind, it gives me a chance of that great vacation made by someone who has the talent to paint pictures but with words. It becomes that dream vacation with wonderful characters! I normally can tell about two thirds into a mystery who the bad person is, this time Hope really hid that person. Looking forward to more books with new fun. Bky.C. (sidenote, I received this as a gift for an honest review)

Fabulous storyline

With each book in this series I become more in love with the idea of taking a cruise. It just seems like a great way to live life. Changing ports changing scenes I won't do it because I'm handicapped but I can dream. Millie's job would have been fun when I was younger and in better health. I love these books and don't want the series to ever end. A faith based book series which is exciting and fun to read is a rare thing.! I highly recommend these books to everyone because we can all learn something from these books.

LOVE these Books!

I absolutely Love how Hope develops her characters! Millie who is my favorite has been so much fun to get to know throughout this series. The spiritual growth and leadership of each character is tremendous, especially Millie. In Killer Karaoke she gets to see a little bit of her example in Danielle. Oh I can't wait to see how Cat grows as well. I just Love all of it mystery, friendship, romance and especially God in control of it all! Thanks, Hope! Keep up the Outstanding work 😊

Hope Callaghan gives us another excellent cozy mystery featuring Miller and her fellow sleuths.
We see suspense weaved through the pages as Millie races to save her boss from being charged with murder, before they reach Miami.
All the characters are well developed and enjoyed learning about Annette's former occupation.
The setting, the story line and the occasional romance adds to my reading enjoyment.
Thanks for another great read.

Another awesome Cruise Ship cozy mystery! In Killer Karaoke, Millie is in charge of the new & improved Karaoke on the ship. One of the electricians, who isn't well liked, gets electrocuted. Millie's boss Andy had an argument with the man right before he died. Also something is going on with Captain Armati. Millie & friends need to solve this murder before the end of the cruise. A very enjoyable Christian cozy mystery!

I have basically read this entire series (17 books so far, I think)...they are fun and fluffy and clean. I love the Christian aspect, I love the CRUISING aspect, and the characters are pretty likable...
(though admittedly, I sometimes roll my eyes at Millie getting involved once more in something or someplace she has no business being---but since that is the premise of the entire series...there you have it!) Enjoyable "summer" read, all year round.

Kindle Unlimited ebook. I need to take a break from this series, it’s beginning to bug me. To unrealistic, I like the fact the main character is in her 60s but her only action that makes you believe that is possibly her use of reading glasses. I mean at least let her have some limitations that would be normal even for a fit 60 year old. Also, I don’t like the relationship between Millie and the captain. Here again she acts like a teenager when talking about him.

What an inspirational book. Just enough mystery, suspense, romance and faith to make the story feel inspiring The antics they get themselves into just amazes me. I always feel so refreshed after reading any of Hope Callaghan's work. They show that a good life is possible and friends are a real blessing. Thanks you.

This one is the best so far. It has some interesting information on electronic and electrical work. A lot of hidden information too that becomes known all a5 once without any lead in or any hint.

The main character’s light romance is catching fire and may, sometime in the future become the high light of her life.

A fun easy read with Millie and her crew solving a new murder

This story rounds out the end of Millies contact with the cruise line. She works to clear her boss Andy from suspicion of murdering a staff member while dealing with questions about her relationship with the captain. A fun read and I look forward to reading more of the series.

Another wonderful book of the Cruise Ship Mysteries. Millie is in charge of the newly expanded Killer Karaoke on the ship. Someone plans to electrocute her. She and her friends are off on a new mystery as she finds out her love, Captain Armati may be transferred to a different ship. Always fun and always a great mystery. This series is great.

Better and better

Each book gets so much better. I love how well the crew has become a family. It is so enjoyable to see how well they work together. We also find out Annette's secret. I figured it was something along those lines.

Two of Millie's Friends are Suspects

Again Hope Callaghan has written a cozy mystery aboard the ship. Someone has electrocuted a crew
member. Millie and her cohorts are on the job. Callaghan's heroine is almost killed. Hurrah for the gray haired sleuth.

Not as good as others

This series is hit and miss. This particular story has continuity issues. The reader is left wondering how characters get from one situation to another. The ending was very hurried.
