I have so much to say but I don't know how to say that so I'll settle for stating that I will never be able to read the last HP book without thinking this version is better, and that it set high standards for fanfiction.

I liked this, but it didn't hit right. I was bored at the beginning, and sometimes it felt like the story was dragging, but I did end up getting into it, and it was okay.

I just think I'm not that much of a drarry shipper (right now, at least. Sometimes, I change my mind about ships) so that's another reason why I was put off from the story. There were a lot of cute moments, though, and I did like the epilouge.

I don’t usually read Harry’s generation fics I’m more of a marauders girly but I love a bit of drarry I can’t lie😋. They were so cute ah.

I rated this less because of the raging smut. It took me by suprise even by standards. Like it was so detailed that I was uncomfy at certain points like damn get at it I guess.

Yeah. Cute. Quick enough read. Another day another slay.

I had such a good time reading this! I was obsessively reading this whenever I got a few moments to myself! At home, on the train, on walks, during study breaks and late at night! It was fun to be in such an intense fangirling mode.
This fic was incredibly well written and the characters felt so true to the original. I will never be able to go back to the canon story now, this is how the series ended for me.

I adored Draco in this! I have never given Draco that much thought before and now I felt like I got to know him in a new way that touched my heart. The author didn’t glance over his flaws and ill doings, which I liked, it kept him true. Instead we got to follow him on his journey in finding his place in the world, struggling with who he is and slowly becoming a better person, without him losing his personality or becoming heroic and selfless like Harry. The character development felt realistic and when the story ended he still had flaws. I also feel like I got closer to his character and I came to appreciate all that’s great about him; like his intelligence and how talented he is at magic. I even came to empathise with his poorer qualities and appreciated him fully as a character. I love moody, snarky, sarcastic Draco with a good heart. I can’t help but make him a new favourite.

The author was also really good at knowing when to quicken the pace and skip over plot points from the original series, things Harry Potter fans already know happened and which don’t add more to this particular story by retelling them. That made the pacing feel perfect.

I went into this not being a Drarry shipper, and I came out of it fully getting why this ship is so popular. They are perfect for each other. Their dynamic is electric (the chemistry!!) and their personalities go so well together. I’m now officially a Drarry shipper.

Es el fanfic más realista en nivel de ser muy similares en personalidad con los originales. Su relación fue lenta, no dejaron su odio y rivalidad tan pronto, tuvieron peleas, en donde la primera vez que se encuentran en esta historia literal Harry casi desvive al pobre Draco. Pero claro tuvieron que pasar tiempo juntos empezando a confiar poco a poco y Harry empezó a pelar la capa dura de Draco y empezar conociéndose como en verdad son.

Este es el fanfic con el que pensé una vez, en donde Draco cambiará de bando y se uniera al trío de oro en busca de los orrorcruxes y vaya que me encantó.
Aunque me hubiera gustado que también Hermione y Ron hubieran tenido más tiempo para relacionarse con Draco y empezar a caerse mejor, pero es algo que tal vez suceda en el futuro formándose lentamente.
Y claro, algo que me encantó es que algunos personajes no murieron, como Dobby >3<.

The way this is actually so embarrassing, but truly I will never get enough of these two. They’re just so silly, and stupid, and obnoxious, and everything that I need when I’m in a reading slump tbh.
Also the way luna was characterized in this, like that’s my girl right there. Her friendship with Harry is everything to me and I will die for that. AND THE WAY LUNA JUST KNOWS EVERYTHING ABSOLUTELY KILLS ME EVERYTIME? Like girl was like “Your angel had come to see me, and had saved me.” THEN LATER WAS LIKE “It’s good to see his wings are okay.” WHILE DRACO WAS IN THE HOSPITAL? LIKE SAVE ME? Luna we know you’re on something but stop making it so cutesy.
The reason I gave the 4 stars not 5 is because of the smut…listen…I can do smut, it’s actually great when the tension breaks. But are you fuckers really that horny? Like just have a nice little conversation like normal people before one of you fuckers gets a disease.

One of my favorite ones, I can not describe how much I loved it. It belongs to those books that I would pay for to be erased from my memory, just so I am able to read it, experience the wonderful journey again.
The characterization is exceptional, I think I have never read a fics where the characters were so canon. It was like, I was reading the original book, but with a great plot lol. It was angsty first, just as it should be, regarding the relationship of the two boys. Their friendship was perfectly balanced, it developed so beautifully.
The final part was pretty fluffy and a bit sappy for sure, but it was so enjoyable after the angsty parts! And whats more important is that it was so believable, it did not happen all at once, but gradually, it was so realistic!
It was such a beautiful story, and something that I will never forget, but always come back to reread if I had time.

Lo mejor de este fic es la primera mitad/ dos tercios: el build up desde el enemies to lovers está súper bien llevado. Me encanta cómo está escrito, aunque a partir de la mitad sí es cierto que se hace un poco repetitivo. Y también había partes en las que el fluff me parecía demasiado; me hubiera gustado que el redemption arc de Draco no hubiese sido solo pillarse hasta las trancas de Harry, porque me encantaba la personalidad de su personaje hasta que da la sensación de que vive y respira exclusivamente por Potter.
Igualmente, ha habido partes en las que no podía soltar el ebook y se me ponía una sonrisa tonta con el desarrollo de su química, y lo considero todo un logro por parte de la autora.
Muy bonito el epílogo además :')

This book (yes I am referring to it as a book, because it’s just that good) is exceptional. There are so many drarry related writings that I know would not happen, because it is incredibly out of character for both of them. It’s there for the fun of it. This, however could absolutely be real. The character traits, the internal monologues, the slow-burn of it all…it’s very realistic. One of my all time favourites. This story made me perceive both of these characters in a different light and there is no going back from that.

(5/5 Stars ⭐️ ) This was the first Harry Potter fan fiction I ever read. Found it via Oprah of all people. I absolutely LOVED it. It was the ending JK should have written, what the series deserved. I would write more, but there are many others who’ve said what I’d say anyway. For example, read this one. It’s excellent.

Really liked the last chapter and the slow build. However, the story and characters were not as well crafted as The Disappearances of Draco Malfoy. While the author did their best to skim over the sections that correlated with the canon, it felt too minimized and rushed.

brought back my love and obsession for harry potter and drarry in 1.
A top tier fanfic but also just a genuienly incredibly written story, like on par with harry potter for sure. idk maybe im just a sucker for drarry and maybe ill feel its less than 5 stars later, but I enjoyed it like a 5 star read

There were too many internal monologues and communicating with eyes and, what comes with it, unintentional head-hopping that it was quite a challenge to read. Not to mention all the repetitions. Wonder how little sense it would make if it all would be cut out. Because story in itself was pretty good and capturing with enough both fluff and angst.

wow, this may be my favourite drarry fic from now on. the plot is great, because it mostly sticks with canon and the characters are pretty canon, too. and god, the rollecoaster of feelings we got to experience was UNBELIEVABLE. it shreded me to pieces and then put back together and i could read about these two being happy for eternity now.

This was perfection and I am so happy that I discovered this fanfic. Harry is shocked to wake up one evening to dine Lupin and Draco in the kitchen of Grimmauld Place. Lupin tells Harry that Draco has left the Death Eaters and is to stay there hidden. Naturally things do not start out well but very slowly things begin to change. This is AU Year 7 and it was fantastic. Highly recommend.

i loved this book. the characters felt accurate. the love story felt realistic. the story was enjoyable and entertaining. there were quite a few emotional lines. i loved the idea behind this book. very different from the other drarry books i’ve read. overall very well done! will definitely stay in my thoughts for a while.

I don't even need to finish to rate this...the beginning was rough and it took me a couple of attempts to get into it. It really leans into the violent conflictual nature of Malfoy's relationship with the Golden Trio in ways that were painful and offputting. However, once the action picked up, it was fantastic.

***Edited to acknowledge the ending made me cry. It has been a minute since fiction was able to do that to me.
