Girl Gone Bad : The Richardson Family Murders

Rate this book
On April 23, 2006 the community was rocked to its very foundation with the discovery of a gruesome triple homicide. An entire family was found stabbed to death in their home that day. The bodies were discovered by the 8 year old boy’s best friend when he arrived at the house to get his friend to come out and play. When cops were notified and an investigation began the scene revealed was one of the worst scenes in Canadian history. Debra Richardson, 48 and her husband Marc, 42 were found in the basement with multiple stab wounds covering their bodies and upon further investigation their son 8 year old Jacob was found also stabbed to death with his throat slit in his bed upstairs. Such a horrific scene was left behind that the police responding would be affected long after the investigation.

This was just ok for me. I wish it was a lot longer and had more details. It has a couple misspelling as well

Read like a high school paper. Very little story here. Needs an editor for proofreading. Rip off!

Very poorly written.

I felt I was reading an elementary essay. It seemed to be based on opinion and short facts and information.

What I did for love

When 12-year-old Jasmine Richardson hooked up with a 23-year-old bad boy named Jeremy Steinke, she made the biggest mistake of her life, a mistake for which others paid with their lives.

What was the child thinking? Did she believe she was mature enough for such a relationship at the age of 12? The author seems quick to make excuses for her, but I think she got off too lightly. So she made such wonderful progress in her therapy and rehabilitation? So did Edmund Kemper. No longer a danger to himself or anyone else when at that moment he had a girl's head in the trunk of his car.

Hopefully the author will prove to be right and Jasmine Richardson will lead a productive life and contribute to society. Hopefully she won't meet another bad boy and find him irresistible.

Bait and switch

Expecting a true-crime book and instead receiving the equivalent of a high school paper. Informative but very dry. So disappointed.
