Nia Howard is a successful stylist at the top of her game. When a call comes in for an A list client in London, Nia hops on the next plane to the UK.
While few details of the celebrity client are shared with Nia, when she meets him they have an instant connection and have more in common than she would have ever thought. One thing leads to another and they find themselves turning into lovers.
But when Nia discovers that her new client is no celebrity, and is actually a Prince and one of the most sought after men in the city, she finds herself intimidated by his wealth and status and decides to head back home to America. What she never expects though is to find herself pregnant with his baby...
Charles Chambers is not your typical Prince. While in his younger years he was one to play the field, lately he longed for more and grew tired of the same aristocrats and gold diggers always after his wealth and status. When he meets Nia, everything changes and he thinks he finally has found the one. He chases her to America but will he be able to accept her and their unborn child?
And will their love be able to survive a conniving Mother who will never accept her, or the woman who was set to marry Charles all along?
The title sums it up. Too many grammatical errors. The pronouns were used willy-nilly. I had to go back and re-read sentences to get them to make sense. This was work to read!
This ended up being a two for one book, which was not bad. I definitely liked the second book better. In either case, even though there was HEA, it still seemed like something was missing. SPOILERS: Even though we know what happened to Shaun in Book 2, it would have been great to know if Tiana's story was ever told. In the first book, there should have been more information about Betsy before near the end of the book.
This books was about a prince who found love. Nia was a very strong independent woman who was attracted to Prince Charles. Nia and Charles connected very well. Nia became upset because Charles did not tell he who he really was. Nia fled London in a hurry. Charles mother had wanted him to get married and produce some heirs. Charles mom had the woman picked out for him, until he caught her with his cousin. Charles made a decision to go after Nia.
This book reads like many individual stories randomly put together. One chapter the characters know each other, the next chapter they don't. I couldn't finish because I became really frustrated. The story has potential with some serious editing.
Misleading title first story\Second book- A Good Suspense Romance
The title for the story was misleading. The baby was never unwanted by the Prince. The story was better than I expected. As soon as the Prince found out about his baby, he wanted the child. The second story was about the secret service agent and the first daughter being kidnapped. The agent and the first daughter fall in love. Its lots of drama. The plot was thin and had a few faux pas's in the execution of some details. The presidents daughter being kidnapped while under the watchful eyes of the best agent! Really! Otherwise the story was decent. 3.7 stars..
I couldn't believe how scared she was of his fame. Even though she felt their connection, she didn't want to believe it was real. I really enjoyed this debut novel.
The bonus book was exciting. I didn't expect the revelations at the trial and couldn't believe the jury's verdict. She was a victim and they portrayed her as a willing participant in her own kidnapping. But a great book.
This had the potential to be a good story, but at times i felt like a was reading two stories i one. Besides the bad grammar, confusing conversational dialogue between characters and the occasional bi-polar moments from Nia to Charles; this book in need of serious proof reading and editing. So, some of these 4 & 5* reviews i am seeing has me scratching my head in wonder if we read the same book!! I suppose it's the "friends & family" reviews that i am seeing then.
I really loved this story!! The way the main characters met and fell in love could easily become a classic!! The direction of the storyline kept me on edge. This book is a highly recommended must read!!!
Halfway through there was plot twist, but everything after that felt like it was part of a different story. I was so confused by the time i got to the end
