it's a beginner's guide to Bhagavad Gita. the book summaries key principles of Gita quite well. grammatical and spelling errors are irritating though. this book should be the first step to read books which provide deeper meaning of the original script

Best for 1st Time Readers

This book is suggested for those people who haven't read Bhagwad Gita at all and had previously heard of it further they also want to gain the knowledge provided in Gita in a short and crisp summarised way.
I really liked this book as it made myself clear of the importance of various aspects of life especially having control on mind to have all the senses, etc under our control.
This is my first read in my reading journey and I hope to go ahead with the blessings of GOD.

Thank you Lord Krishna 🙏🏻

Didn't like the book much . didn't feel like I am reading Gita..though the book title says Gita made very easy..the interpretation was not very convincing..I completed the book because the author suggested to complete..

It seems the author is confused

Bhagavat Geeta is a sacred book which holds truth of the universe & life.
This isn't a book but just an incomplete summary of Geeta.
I wish author had put efforts to actually read the Bhagvat Geeta himself at least 4~5 times before writing this short summary claiming it to be an easy version of Geeta.

Pretty easy to read and understand. Nice examples and author’s insights are followed by important lessons from Lord Krishna.
However, the grammatical mistakes in all over the book have spoiled the reading experience. Eg.: ‘This’ and ‘these’ were interchangeably used in many sentences.

Learnings :
1. Your mood should be similar during happiness and sadness, profit and loss, victory and defeat.
2. A man who is constantly upgrading his knowledge is called learned and he can serve the society well as compared to dumb man.
3. Perform your activities without expecting the personal material gains, those who works for personal material gains becomes unhappy at the end.
4. When a person achieves self control then all sadness is vanished from life and he becomes a happy minded person.
5. A person can not achieve anything with knowledge alone. Action must be mixed with knowledge in order to achieve success.
6. What ever great personality does, common man imitates the same. This create healthy world.
7. Knowledgeable person does not take credit for whatever good he does.
8. Those who remain equipoised in every situation of success or failure, never becomes unhappy
9. Lord Krishna : I am seated in the hearts of all creatures. I am the beginning, the middle and the end of all beings.

Good short read

I always wanted to read a few "Shastras" but understanding them and finding time to do that is practically near to failure. As soon as I came through the title, I decided to give it a read. As it says, it's really easy to understand. Well you can always pick positive things from anywhere, and this book has done some for me. I am glad to read it and would recommend it to everyone interested in learning about life. Also, since I have never read Bhagvad Gita itself, I can't really tell if it was a real squeezed one but my motive was more of learning from it which surely happened.

I couldn't read more than 5 pages. Such unbearable language (be it the way of expression or the grammatical errors or the description of characters) in the name of simplification. I wonder why someone would want to humiliate a scripture like the Bhagavad-Gītā in the name of summary. Amar Chitra Katha has done a fair job of animating our scriptures for children and that simplicity is palatable and also delectable. However, this book is not acceptable in the name of covering up for paucity of time. At least not for me. It is appalling to accept such a version of an epic created for lifetimes of human lives.

The only way I've actually been able to complete the full Bhagvat Gita!

The book has allowed me to read all 18 chapters in two days. I've been trying to read the Bhagvat Gita for many years and I have now done so. Kishan, I have appreciated how you have presented this book, and will be sharing this with my teenage children. I would like to provide some additional feedback too. Please send me an email address so that I can write to you confidentially.

Nice short concise

I would actually rank you 4.5 stars only. There's a lot of spelling correction and some grammatical errors. Otherwise the book is flawless. Sometimes I needed further explanation and referred the Bhagavad Gita as it is by ISKCON and I found that your summary was the shortest summary of each verse. Good book. Recommended.

Good for introducing Geeta

In short, its good for introducing Gita to someone. Though more serious read is required to understand subtle meaning of these yet to develop an interest for Geeta, this is good book

Good content but poor language

The language needs to be better if it's being published this way. I wonder who did the editing job. Easy to read and understand though. Even an 8 yr old could manage this

The translation was worst. Somewhere lot of grammatical mistakes as well in sentence construction. It mostly reiterates the point of 'Karma' to be able to attain God and be free from Life & death circle. Its an easy read.

Nothing to read in this...even kids cartoon or webtoon is much better than this one..atleast they have content with pictures so it seems interesting.. Don't go for short version to read scriptures..

One of the most horrendous books I ever read. The translation completely camouflages the real meaning of each shloka. The language is deplorable with spelling and grammatical errors galore. IGNORE!

The writer has made efforts to connect Geeta to the present time. He has succeeded to a large extent. The issue is whether Bhagwan Krishna wanted to tell the same thing as written in the boo. May be. I. am not sure. Anant

Book's content totally justifies its title. I was looking for a book which translates Gita to simple plain english. Author has made all verses short but clear, and also shared real life examples to support some of the verses. Its a good book to read and you will be able to finish it no time.
