OMG! Was this all really happening? Kid napping, assaults, blackmailing, lies, betrayals, and in the midst of al the crazy scary drama.....LOVE? Can you really fall in love with your drug dealing, law breaking, kid napper? Hattie and Ryker sure did!!!!!

Decent read
This was a decent plot and the characters were written okay however I think it was too much fluff in the book and it could of ended half way through the series

Took me awhile longer to get into this story as no way as brutal to the last books I have read but so far I like the characters ( I want a Ryker of my own 😬) it is a different spin on a ‘mafia dark romance’ story from those I have read recently.

Amazing!!!
Wow!! What a series!!! I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t this!! I LOVED every book. Each book brought something new and exciting to the table. I never felt bored or like the story was dragging. Hattie is a spitfire and her spirit and conviction is wonderful to read. Ryker is something special, too. I thought the whole story was fantastically told.
I would highly recommend this series!! It’s incredibly believable and fantastical at the same time. It’s a great, quick read that will suck you in! 11/10!

3-1/2 stars.
I like most of the story. Hattie and Ryker have good chemistry. There are plenty of steamy scenes with them. What I hated the most was how stupid Hattie is at times. She puts herself in danger on purpose. She has a big fat mouth. The last thing anyone should do is say things to anger vicious thugs who hold her captive.

Now, this trilogy held a lot of potential hadn't there been this TSTL heroine who behaved beyond slap-worthy. I get it, she's held hostage ... blablabla ... but it seems there's no self-preserving bone in her seeing how stupid she acts. DNF

Excellent books. I loved the story. It was filled with so much passion and drama. It kept me so interested I had to read it everyday. I couldn’t wait to get to the end to see how this story will end. Great writing.

great trilogy
I loved Ryker and Hattie. This trilogy was full of suspense, action, and plenty of romance and steamy sex. They were a great couple and I loved how they both grew and matured together and separate. Great read!!

Bargain #1
Most definitely one of the bestest books I've read this year. This is my second book by the author and I'm certainly falling more and more in love with her writing.
We see Hattie kidnapped mysteriously and the series of events that lead to it. She had never imagined her one wild night of passion would find her in this huge mess, away from home and in captivity. Yet she is unable to resist her attraction to the dangerous and intriguing man who has kidnapped her. She finds herself embroiled in an emotional war with herself as on one hand she is disgusted by her feelings and on the other hand is unequipped to resist.
You can't help but like Ryker, as right from the beginning he is not cruel to Hattie. On the other hand it seems that he equally happens to share his feelings with her.
But they both are a part of huge politics and ranging on the opposite sides of the spectrum and hence can never be together.
Their chemistry though.. OMG... Combustible and sizzling hot.
That ending though, so many secrets and answers yet to be revealed. I'm going crazy with wanting to know what is going to happen next.
I want more of Hattie and Ryker and can't wait to dive into the next one. Loved loved this one. 💖💖💖💖💖

Oh my goodness, I can't believe this book ended the way it did. My heart is beating so wildly right now and I'm truly scared for Hattie and Ryker.
Just when finally they had started getting their lives in control, things spiral quickly and so fast.
I really want them to have all the happiness but with the circumstances staring them in face it seems to be next to impossible. I'm really nervous and can't wait to start book 3. As life has again come full circle for both of them and this time there seems to be no way out.
I have to say though Loving this author's writing very much. Her stories take you along the ride with the characters. Loved loved this one.💖💖💖💖

WHAT AN EXPLOSIVE CONCLUSION!!!! I really am speechless after reading this book. It's like I was on a racing track and now that I've reached the finish line, I'm just astounded. I've read all the book in this series back to back and LOVED LOVED all the books and this is truly a fast paced spectacular conclusion to an amazing series. Loved loved this. 💖💖💖
