From Kamery Solomon, #1 bestselling genre author and creator of the international best seller Swept Away, comes EXORIA, the stunning conclusion to THE GOD CHRONICLES!
Olympus has never been so close to falling.
With Hades missing from the front lines of battle and Cristos, son of Zeus, banished to Tartarus, the gods are starting to feel that their time has come to an end. Each day, the Titans draw nearer to victory. If they succeed in their quest, every mortal on Earth will perish. However, unbeknownst to either side, they’ve both helped create another being, one set on watching the Titans and Olympians alike fall, even if it means making the world burn in the process.
Cristos, determined to escape his fiery prison, strikes a deal with Hades; he will do anything Hades wants in exchange for his freedom and the chance to go after Avalon, the demi-Titan woman he loves. Of course, Hades only wants one thing—Katrina. For more than twenty years, the Lord of the Dead has been trying to bring back the mortal he fell in love with and lost. With Cristos at his side and a plan in place, the god that always finished last may just be on his way to coming out on top.

The story narrated alternating between Hades and Cristos' Point of View. Both Gods were eager to do anything to get their loved one back, no matter the consequences. It was a great conclusion to the series, and a happy ending was what we always hoped for when reading a book. BUT I would much prefer if the king has a better end though. Anyway, I recommend reading the whole series for its uniqueness, and it's quite enjoyable if you ignore the mistakes.
I tried not to reveal a lot. It starts out after what happened in book 4 to Hades and Cristos. Several battles, abject chaos and maybe some indirect views of the world after what happens goes awry. I think it could’ve had way more emotional resonance between the characters (see below) that it could’ve ended a little better. Maybe the author had rushed towards the end but the wrap up felt off.
It just felt Meh to me at the end (regardless of the outcome). I didn’t get any idea about the effects on the world on humanity afterwards although I can figure it out on my own. It just felt like mostly a guys’ view of the story which I understand why but I think it could’ve been improved at the end with some added conversations.
Maybe if there had been more parts from Avalon or Katrina’s view (leading up to it the crisis’ or even after), to round out the story a bit more - I think it would’ve helped the ending feel more complete and emotionally resolved.
There was a lot going on in this book. Told from Cristos' and Hades' point of view exclusively, it was interesting to see how the past two books were tied together and completed in this series. There were a few times I thought the story could have transitioned better...I really wish there was a better resolution for Cristos with his family.
This book is an excellent and unforgettable finale to a fantastic series by Kamery Solomon. The imagination and emotion that are present in this book are out of this world and will draw you in like no other. You will feel what the characters feel like you were them and you will find yourself fighting with them as they continue their journey to their goals. I will miss this series.
I HATE giving one of Ms. Solomon's books less than five stars, but there were just too many errors to overlook. Misspelled words, incomplete sentences, sentences that didn't make sense... it took away from my enjoyment of the book and also disrupted the flow of my reading. The story itself could've been a little more developed as well. It felt rushed and sometimes the plot made huge jumps instead of filling in the details. It's almost like she was in a hurry to just finish up the series. I was disappointed in the finale. Oh well, it's over now, I suppose. Would've loved to end on a happier note.
