Wonderful book, like all of Jack's. I am writing this on the day of his passing (1/17/2013) and I'm very sad.

Stunningly honest and lovely. Easy to read. Dark and heartfelt and hopeful and all the things.

Amazing. Hilarious. Real. Bittersweet. *Real.*
Favorites include The Moon and Justin O'Shea, The Swan on Nutting Lake, and Careful What You Ask For.
But then I want to add The Trailer Park on Mount St. Helens, and California Morning, and The Faithful Men.
And suddenly the whole lot of them are here.
I've seen him live, and it's a crying shame the book doesn't come with a cd, because they come to life when he reads them.
