An informative and amusing introduction to the subject.
The book is well-illustrated and includes some great anecdotes about the movie industry and how it operates.
A few minor criticisms. One of these is that the book focuses almost entirely on the US film industry and Hollywood with barely a mention of the British, European or Asian studios. Secondly, there is at least one error: Mae West and Busby Berkeley are certainly not the only movie figures to have given their names to other things.
Nevertheless, a great little book guaranteed to entertain and interest....

Besides a bookworm, I am a cinephile. It has interesting facts I have never heard of (whaat? Humphrey Boggart was shorter than Ingrid Bergman?) but there are also a couple of errors (Emilio Estevez is Charlie Sheen's brother, not his cousin).

Kind of outdated but it was published in 1998 so, can't blame them. Still very informational, though.
