Several years ago Abby was abducted and tortured by an internet stalker named Rodney. Through her own toughness and strength, she managed to escape. During that escape, she had to fight off and kill Erin, another victim who had no problem trading Abby’s life for her own.
Years later, Abby’s physical wounds have healed but the mental wounds live on. Now married with a family, she tries to put the horrible ordeal behind her. However, she begins getting text messages and emails from Rodney once again. Problem is, Rodney is dead. Who could be playing games with her? She saw Rodney die…didn’t she? How can Abby keep from getting Hacked Again?
I LOVED this follow-up to Tim Miller's Hacked!! This book had me guessing what was coming next until the very end. There were a lot of places where I was literally screaming at my kindle because I did not expect what was happening!! Tim Miller has given his readers a book that they will not forget and will leave them wanting to know what comes next for Abby!!
I highly recommend this book to any horror fan!! This book had plenty of OMG moments, gore, blood, and so much more!! It read like a movie. It was also a very quick read for me -- I could not put it down. Tim Miller did a great job and I cannot wait to read what he comes out with next!!!
Abby was so afraid and was being tormented by an unknown person. When you find out who it is, you are surprised. Abby then gets the courage to fight back. I loved the ending.
Hacked was a very chilling horror story, so I was eager to see what Hacked Again would bring. There was so much terror in the fact that no matter how hard Abby tried, she could never forget or even distance herself from the fear and horror of what she had survived. The scenes with the teeth being smashed and pulled had me cringing hard, and I may never look at my pet cats with the same eyes again after reading the scene with the feral cats. As I learned more about The Watcher, I have to admit that I was a little shocked. My mind was whirling with all the possibilities. There was no shortage of brutally horrific scenes. The fact that The Watcher was always three steps ahead was incredibly frightening. This was undoubtedly one of the most gruesome books I have ever read. Tim Miller always ups the ante with his books and my slightly twisted side is totally along for the ride. Hacked Again was the most violent and gory book I have read by Tim Miller to date. The bonus story was also very entertaining.
