Bsi: Bible Scene Investigations

Looking for a fun and interactive way to challenge kids to dig deeper into the Bible? Bible Scene Investigations is a creative, new program that invites kids to literally step into the Bible stories and learn from God's Word. Each of the six lessons in this series is set up like a criminal investigation with kids taking on the role of detective. Lessons begin with a detective briefing, followed by skit or video depicting a police interview with one of the witnesses. The kids visit to a "crime scene" taken from stories like Jacob, Joseph, Hophni and Phineas, and Peter. Finally, students gather together to look at the clues along with the Bible story and see how it applies to their lives. Whether you're looking for something different in your weekly programming or a clever new idea for camp, VBS, and other summer programs, BSI will challenge your leaders and students to take a deeper look at what God's Word has to say.

About the author

John Cosper is an award-winning writer from Southern Indiana and the founder of Righteous Insanity. He has written more than 2000 sketches and produced over 100 short films. He is the author of several science fiction novels, short story collections, and even kids stories.

John's film credits include the Fluffy trilogy, the Clive the Zombie puppet films, The Hauss Show, and award-winning short films Out of My Mind, The Telemarketer, Tolerance, and Bots. He's dabbled in noir, horror, and other dark realms, but for the most part he prefers humor and space opera to dystopian societies filled with moody teenagers.

Never one to stay stuck in one genre for long, John also writes about professional wrestling. He is the author of several wrestling histories and biographies, and he writes about wrestling's past and present on his blog www.eatsleepwrestle.com.
