Can she convince his out of control bear that she’s just what he needs?
Michael Long has scars, both physical and emotional. He’s damaged. His bear is broken and dangerous. In fact, the only time his bear comes out is to viciously maim and kill. So when the woman he knows is his mate shows up, right there on his family’s ranch, his best course of action is to avoid her. But, Daisy Hawkins is unavoidable.
Daisy isn’t taking no for an answer. As sweet as her name, Daisy is Landing, Wyoming’s newest kindergarten teacher. She’s not sure what came over her when she set eyes on the tall, muscular rancher at the annual field trip to the Long Ranch. Daisy has never hit on a man before, but Michael Long is the sexiest thing she’s ever seen. The connection between them is almost palpable. Why does the guy keep running away from her?
As if chasing down a reticent cowboy wasn’t stressful enough, Daisy’s period is late. She’s always wanted to be a parent, but she hadn’t planned on meeting the man of her dreams while pregnant with another man’s baby.

Well, hello! Let me tell about this fuckery.
It was fine up until they discovered she was pregnant. It annoyed me some, but I was warned so I got over it. I thought the heroine was a decent woman but no. She was a bitch! So much so that I couldn’t finish the last 2 chapters.
Why you may ask?
Well, she called the guy she slept with a few months ago a sperm donor(!). She added he was a friend of friend and it was a one night stand(so she could find him!!!!!!). She didn’t know his last name or anything, and then she said that fucking her didn’t make him a father and she didn’t want him to father her child. She wanted the man that she knew for less than a week to do so.
What. A. Selfish. Bitch? What the actual FUCK?
She’s vicious and disgusting. The man she has the audacity to call a sperm donor, is the father of her child! She doesn’t know him anymore than she knows her current boyfriend but she has the audacity to strip him of his right to know he’s a father! That somewhere in the world he has a son or a daughter! Just because of her new boyfriend. Wow. Just wow. Her intentions are so selfish and self-centered I would’ve rated this with zero stars if I could!! She’s an awful woman and a mother.
I wish I knew she was going to be this way, because I would have avoided this book like the devil avoids holy water!!!
I DO NOT recommend for all the world. The heroine isn’t pleasant to read, her character is just awful and selfish.
Michael and Daisey's story was getting good and this author did these characters a disservice by abruptly ending the story. Unfortunately, it was a waste of my time. I was vested in their story and then I was disappointed. Here the hero is a bear shifter who not only has external scars, but internal ones as well. He is one of the Long brothers. He meets his fated mate on the ranch. She is a school teacher who is very attracted to him. He needs to stay away from her...He does not want to hurt her. She feels the attraction and is determined.
I have read the other books in this series, but this one was cut short and not fully developed. It had so much potential. I hope this author loves her characters more in the future. They deserve better.
I really enjoy the Rancher Bears. This was a quick read but it had good story line that kept my interest throughout. Michael is a bear shifter, and according to him his bear is dangerous and should not be around others. That is not what Daisy thinks. As soon as she realizes there is a connection there and what Michael is, she is not going to let him go that easy. She is a woman on a mission. Great short read with a lot of emotion in it, along with a HEA. I wish it went a bit further into the future though to see the outcome their lives together.
Micheal believes his bear is damaged because of an incident that happened when he was younger until Daisy turns up and she is his mate he tries to stay away from her but Daisy doesn’t make it easy on him then Daisy finds she is pregnant with another mans child Michael’s bear is angry someone else touched his mate and changes in her house this scares Micheal and he turns and runs away. He tries to stay away but follows her to make sure she is safe. This story has a lot of passion, understanding and love in it well worth reading
I loved the character of Michael. He was a man who has been severely hurt as a child and this has affected his entire life. He hasn't been able to hang out with his brothers like he would want to or have any sort of meaningful relationship because of it. Just hearing his story, broke my heart.
Daisy is new to town and even though people try and warn her away from him saying he's dangerous, she knows deep down that he would never hurt her.
I liked the development of these characters and I also liked the Daisy wasn't going to let Michael hide any longer.
Michael is a bear shifter who thinks his bear is crazy and dangerous. Daisy is a new teacher and is at the Long's ranch when she spots Michael. He is so handsome and sexy that Daisy is attracted to right away. Michael knows right away that she is his mate. Michael doesn't think he's fit to have a mate. Can Daisy convince Michael that he or his bear won't hurt her? I highly recommend this book and series.

Very good book. I am envious of shifters if they were real. I understand that it's very lonely if they don't find their mate, but when they do their love and faithfulness lasts forever. A true mate can accept you for who you truly are.
Would have been a decently fun, if not too short story, like the other ones in the series but I really disliked the fact that she was pregnant with another man’s baby when she met the hero so she decided not to tell the biological father about it. Not cool.
Moving to a small town for a job is rough. Especially when you don't know your pregnant and suddenly meet the man who says your his mate now Michael has to learn to trust his bear and accept his mate is pregnant
I enjoyed this book! I've read others in the series and Michael intrigued me. I liked that she had to chase him a bit and thought both leads were charming. This is a short read, so you get minimal story, lots of steam, and fun characters. I highly recommend it!
I enjoyed book 4 in this series watching Michael and Daisy find their HEA. I'm looking forward to book 5 in this series and will definitely recommend this book to everyone.
Great quick read. Just wish the story was longer as I really liked these characters and there was enough going on that it could have had a few more elements added without feeling like filler.
This was not my favorite book in the Rancher Bears Series. Maybe it was his insecurities or maybe it was the baby daddy...I don’t know. Not a bad read just not my favorite.
I enjoyed this book 📙 from this series, it was filled with family, friendship, loyalty, drama, romance and love 😍. On to the next book 📙 from this series.
