As a child, I loved reading the Choose You Own Adventure stories. With the multiple branching paths, I was engulfed in a world of mystery, adventure, suspense, magic, science fiction, and horror allowing me to choose my own destiny. They provided me with hours and hours of reading enjoyment. Flash forward many years later and I am again transported back to the land of multiple branching story paths with the Twisted Journeys books.

This story is enjoyable with suspenseful situations and lots of action. Unfortunately, the art work did not really add to the story.

While the ‘tween reader is the intended audience this adult enjoyed reading the book and I want to read more in the series.

I wish they made more choose your own adventure books. In this one, you are a vampire being hunted in your own castle. I tried about ten different options and still didn't see all the endings. I also enjoyed the humor of it. Whether you died or survived, there was always a chuckle at the last line. It was nice to have a mix of the graphic and text only.

this was a good book but kind of short. the vampires didn't look like the ones that pop up in your head when you think of vampires. this book was good.
