It’s a beautiful story of hope and faith. Never lose hope of light when you find yourself in dark. It is a story of a woman who had a troubled marriage. She is trying to make a new beginning after her husband died a year ago with her five year old son.

There is a rainbow after rain and there is a bright sky after dark night. Things will change to good one day. Bad things happen but it is only hope and faith which keeps you alive, which keeps you going. Have a little faith in almighty, he is watching you over. Who knows what you will find, when you turn the page, all you may see is a bright color rainbow, jovial and enchanted.

Life is another name of hope, life is somewhere you will find a rainbow.

Very strong gospel message that’s delivered by the actions and lifestyle of the characters in this story rather than getting preached at. There are a few scenes where Bible verses and stories are discussed but they occur organically and fit the storyline well.

Author, Yvonne Lehman, is a seasoned writer who knows the area she’s chosen for this story. I’ve been to this little island off the coast of S. Carolina and could picture it quite well from her descriptive prose. All the weather, flora, beaches and architectural imagery was perfect.

All of the primary adult characters had been hurt from bad relationships and were in various stages of learning to trust God, the opposite sex, themselves and each other. Trust is the key theme for “Somewhere a Rainbow”. Each has a unique circumstance but these 3, (2 single adult siblings and a recent young widow), are drawn together along with 4 total kids, a rambunctious puppy and a dilapidated bungalow, to create an extended family by need choice and eventually by trust, faith & love📚

Enjoyable read!

This was a light and easy, clean read and I thought it was enjoyable. I could emphasize with both Brooke and Jake. Watching them work through their individual issues and their relationship was heart-warming. I do recommend this book.

Another excellent, beautifully written book

A beautifully written book that demonstrated how God's love for us is never ending and all caring. That God loves us and blesses daily and that sometimes we do not realize that He is heaping His love and blessings on us until we look back and reflect on what is happaning. This book was a good example of how a good book of fiction should be written. It was easy to bond with the characters; Brooke, Jake, Ben and littleTaz. I would like to read more stories about them. Thank you for a wonderfully written story with good language and a good story line. It was worth staying up all night to finish reading it.

Good solid romance with laugh out loud moments

Great read! You fall in love with the characters and root for them along than say. The laugh out loud moments caught me unaware and were much appreciated. Would love to read the story in a setting of 5 years from now to meet the couple again. Thank you for writing a great romance!

Great characters!

This is a straight-forward, super clean and godly story. You see a great example of a Christian man, a mixup in understanding for understandable reasons, and some lessons in dog training and how to live.

I’ve several other books by this author and loved them. While well written, this one unfortunately didn’t hold my interest and I did not finish.

The two main characters have been through tough times but have come through their trials with a strong faith. Even with their strong faith, they had trust issues and secrets from their past that they had to overcome. A sweet and heart-warming story.
