As she writes in her self-awareness journal assigned in English class, fifteen-year-old Sydney tries to discover her true identity and comes to terms with her obsession about her absent father.
This book was a light hearted, whimsical story of a normal girl and her overactive imagination. It brought me back to a time where anything was possible if you just believe. No matter how cliche that sounds, that is a main idea in Sydney's mind. This story told of the trouble Syndey's overactive imagination got her into, and how she got out of it. In a way that surprised, she managed to get herself out of trouble, while still believing in the thing that caused a mess in the first place. She simply molded a solution. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants a light book to reminisce about a time where life was simple.
