Most women involved in auto racing were on the periphery – working in PR or the medical center – but Callie wasn’t most women. She was a racing driver, and one of the brightest young talents in the sport. She was also utterly determined to succeed, despite being surrounded by people convinced that racing was only for men – her own relatives among them. Win this year’s championship and she’d silence her doubters once and for all.
There was just one person standing in her way:
Her team-mate. Her biggest rival. A man with baby blue eyes, and a smile to die for.

Drake was damaged, damaged, and damaged some more. But nothing and nobody could resist his charms or his driving ability. And if they did they had his ruthless streak to contend with – and his habit of crashing fellow competitors off the track.
The big time – and the chance to finally stick it to all those in his past – was finally in sight. All he had to do was win the championship. There was just one person standing in his way:
A team-mate and rival that was every bit as talented as he was. A smart and sassy woman that scrambled all of his instruments. Someone who threatened to throw his whole career off track – and maybe even his life.
--------
The two of them were on a collision course, and it was only a matter of time before they came together.
Fasten your seatbelts, because the sparks are about to fly.
The characters left an impression long after I closed the book. The storyline was interesting, but just fell short for me. It drug out the racing scenes and the scenes between the main characters was quick paced and left you wanting more from the characters.
