Oh, this was awful. You have to believe that hypnotism = magic or else the whole thing doesn't work.

You know, I read a lot of paranormal books, so I'm used to suspending disbelief, but even if hypnotism worked the way it was supposed to in the book, the characters don't behave with any sort of sense at all.

Even given that, though.... here's a quote from page 20: "He'd had his eye on every single redhead who'd walked in that door, and none of them had done it for him." Um. There's so much wrong with that I don't even know where to start.

And the sister. She REALLY wants a baby because.... she's afraid her husband will leave her. Well, that's a great reason to have a baby. (sarcasm, in case you can't tell) Her husband goes to a fertility specialist, but she doesn't. She goes instead to a hypnotist because.... reasons. And when our heroine becomes pregnant, she still doesn't go to a fertility specialist, she just cuts off her sister because... more reasons.

I did actually enjoy one thing about this book: every few pages there was something new to rant about.
