Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol become dinosaur wranglers when some dinosaurs get loose in Adventure Bay! Children ages 2 to 5 will love this all-new Little Golden Book starring Nickelodeon's awesome pups.
I’ve had many—MANY— opportunities to reflect on the author’s craft. You will notice that while there is a beginning date for this book, there is no end date. We will probably read this book several times a day over the next 6 months. First, this is clearly a plot-driven story. I noticed little character development. Rather, the story moves rapidly through dinosaur fossil discovery and an imagined dino takeover of Adventure Bay. Second, some of the plot elements seem improbable. Could Rubble really get along and play with Triceratops? Um, no. He would’ve been a kabob. Could Skye and Marshall actually rescue several baby Pterodactyls? Absolutely not. According to the last Jurassic World movie, Pterodactyls are not cuddly. But if you can suspend reality and settle for less than deep characters, then you and your toddler will enjoy Paw Patrol’s dino adventure.
Like the other Paw Patrol books, this one follows one of the TV episodes. Most of this story takes place in Rubble's dreams. More descriptive than many of the learning to read books, but still short and simple for young readers. Mostly got this because my daughter loves Paw Patrol.
