I am a former British soldier now turned IT slave. I began writing around mid-2014. This was a semi-autobiographical military Trilogy, under a different name.

During this time, I took to social media to promote myself and my books. Whilst on Twitter, I came across another author Dakota Storm who also writes under a different name. After mutual consent, and a bit of arm twisting on her part, we decided to collaborate on a book titled "Explosive Chemistry"

I enjoyed the experience so much I decided to continue on my own. I then released two more books on my own. The first titled "Undercover Liaisons", the other "The Principals Daughter". Both of these have military themes running through them as they are based on my experiences in the military and Private Security Industry

I wrote a trilogy of books based on the life and experiences of a male escort. They follow a young Irishman, the innocence of his first chance meeting with an older lady. She opens his eyes into the world of BDSM. After gaining a taste for it, he tries to discover more about the lifestyle while travelling abroad. The final book focuses on him acting as a male escort in a professional capacity. The main character experiences both sides of the BDSM lifestyle as a dom and a submissive. It was a challenge as I write as both male and female POV in the first person.
I recently released my first erotica novel, which is a dark psychological tale titled "Alters"

"Salvation" follows the lives of two characters searching for their own personal salvation.

"Hemispheres" was released in December 2017 is a psychological story dealing with emotions between two different characters. I won't spoil the story, but one is a sadistic selfish property developer, the other a loving family man. The ultimate sacrifice to save a child, an intricate puzzle to be solved.

"The Principal's Daughter" by Zak Hardacre was a great read! Richard, a personal security detail agent, is prepared to take a security assignment overseas, when fate intervenes and that assignment is delayed. While he waits out the assignment delay, another opportunity presents itself and he jumps at it. Richard finds himself in a few situations that will leave the readers fanning themselves. The sex scenes in this book are hot and the details are plentiful! The details surrounding Richard's work as a personal security agent was fascinating and I actually learned quite a bit about security detail from this story.

The book is a quick read and I will keep my fingers crossed that Mr. Hardacre writes about Richard again. He's a sexy, charismatic fellow and a very likable character. I really enjoyed the story and will look for more stories from Zak Hardacre.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. From the first page, with its reference to Brideshead Revisited, which is one of my all-time favorite books and TV series, to its last page I was swept up in the action and scenery of where this erotic romance takes place. The sex scenes are very hot and the plot was great too. I love the main character's conflict of being attracted to someone whom he knows he shouldn't go near because it could risk his career, but he does it anyway. What will be the repercussions of his decision to be sexually involved with his boss's daughter and wife? You'll have to read this and find out for yourself. I highly recommend this story.

Protection Detail

Zac Hardacre gives the reader a close up and personal look at Special Operatives in his writing. I am always amazed at how involved I become in his stories. The writing is excellent and filled with amazing detail. The plot is strong and the action is well thought out. The sex scenes are hot and smoldering too!

I was a bit sceptical when I started reading the book as I thought that the author would go into mundane detail about the military & security aspects of the story. To my surprise he didn't & all was explained in easy layman's terms that had me intrigued!!!
The story was a quick read packed with action & steamy erotic scenes centering around the main character oversexed ex military man Richard.
Richard goes into private/personal security after leaving the military & already on day one of his new job he is breaking rules.
I'm hoping that in the future Richard reappears with more tales!!!!!!

I'm sorry to say I didn't enjoy the book as much as I uselly do. I will try to explain this here.

I like several types of book. I love (BDSM) erotic books, I enjoy some fantasy (Tolkien, David Eddings) and I do like adventure and crime fiction (David Baldacci, Desmond Bagley, Stieg Larsson). So "The Principals Daughter" did sound promising.
But I was disappointed. In fact I had trouble finishing this book. I do believe I wouldn't have finished if I didn't promise to write a review.

The book is called "The Principals Daughter" but Pandora isn't a head figure in the story. It is a story about Richard, divorced and starting a new career as a bodyguard.
What is bugging me the most is the fact that Richard is ruled by his dick. It really is a wonder he has a dick left, since he has unprotected sex with all his partners! There isn't a single woman in this book he doesn't fuck or want to fuck. What the fuck?! How old is he, 14?!
The sex is plenty, but I don't find the scenes very hot. It is more 'wham bam thank you ma'am.' That wouldn't be a big issue for me if the excitement came from the rest of the story (the sexscenes with Jack Reacher aren't particulary interesting LOL) But the plot couldn't capture my interests eighter.

Is this book 'bad'? No, it is not. It is good written in style and choice of words. The plot isn't bad. But in my opinion it lacks depts. Maybe the book was better of by being crime fiction or erotica. Maybe I could have related more to Richard if he was more selective. Or if he had some developing going in thoughts and actions.
