Jett Brandon is an arrogant pr*ck who deserves his bad boy reputation. His hard, chiseled body and cocky smile look like they came right out of a magazine. He’s completely irresistible, and what’s more? He knows it.
Money’s the love of his life. He lets women have a taste of him for a night or two...right up until they get emotional. He doesn’t have time for that sh*t.
Until her.
Angelica Chandler is wrong for him on every level. She’s a gorgeous small-town girl who should be staying as far away from his bed as possible, not playing head games with him.
Not tempting fate, and not playing with fire.
But she’s got a dirty secret that won’t release her from its grip—and it has them both on a collision course for heartbreak.
He’s the last man she should have anything to do with, but seducing him is her one chance at survival.
That is, unless he seduces her first...

Blurb: I’d seduce a hundred billionaires if it meant I could save my brother’s life. As it turns out, I only have to seduce one.
I’m supposed to be stealing information from Jett Brandon. That’s my only job. I’ll use any tactics available to me. My body. My lips. But I won’t fall for him.
I won’t notice the way his eyes burn with desire. I won’t lose myself in his possessive touch. And I won’t melt at the sound of my name on his lips.
I won’t. I won’t.
Because even if I fell hopelessly in love with Jett Brandon, I can never have him.
Free copy for an honest review. A rich billionaire unhappy in love, having recently broken up from a gold digger. A women who has struggled her whole life and also looked out for her brother, working hard at her job. Angelica is sweet, loving, loyal and wouldn't hurt a fly. A story of love, betrayal, fraud and blackmail. Threats of harm if orders aren't followed. Guilt at having to deceive and lie. This is at times an intense and a bit scary, but there are also a few lighter parts. A good story base with a great romance built around it, Ideal for those that like their love stories to have an edge and be a bit meaty. It is enjoyable and draws you in quickly, it also has you falling in love with Jett and Angelica. A definite five star rating and worth every one of them.
I received an ARC for an honest review. Jett is a billionaire bad boy, who is cocky, sexy, and jaded with love. Angelica is a sweet, loyal, protective, small town girl. When circumstances force Angelica to do something she does not want to do, she meets Jett. There is an instant and intense attraction between these two, but do they get their HEA? You need to read this for yourself to find out! This story is about betrayal, fraud, blackmail, loyalty, and love. The twists and turns ensure that the reader remains captivated throughout. Amelia has written a wonderful intriguing story, and I recommend her work for all readers. Cannot wait to read whatever she brings to us next.
Dirty Ransom is a FANTASTIC book!!! I absolutely adored Jett and Angelica! Amelia Wilde has woven great sex, suspense, blackmail, bad boys, and romance together to make a MAGNIFICENT storyline!!! It is HOT! HOT!! HOT!!! Dirty Ransom is a MUST read! *I received this book in exchange for an honest review.*
Arc review For honest review Angelina is in a bad situation when she meets jetting and what is she suppose to do .those decisions are hard for anyone so I don't blame her very good.
This book just didn’t do it for me. It took me longer than normal to finish the book and it was only 260 pages. I found myself pulled in by the early onset suspense, only to be let down by the lack of details, information and character development. However, if you are looking for a quick romance with a little suspense, this is the book for you.
Pros: •Suspenseful. The suspense that was provided was interesting.
Cons: •Little information. The author provided very little information on the suspense giving. (Which I found to be frustrating because the suspense was something that I liked. It’s what made me want to read the book.)
•Constant Rambling. I hated how Jett kept rambling on about a women named Emerald. It became very annoying the more I read and in the end didn’t really gain enough details about her.
•Too Quick. Although this was a quick read, a lot of things happened a little too quickly. Situations that would normally happen over a course of a few chapters took place in one.
•Character Development. There wasn’t any! The author did not go into enough details about each of the main characters. Although the author provided a little background information, I was still lost on the personality of Angelica and Jett.
Jumping in towards the end of a series can be hard, this book made it quite easy!
Angelica is a lovely if somewhat naive character from the background portrayed and jett a little obvious as a spoilt rich boy. That said, the writing still made them somewhat endearing.
The epilogue however had nothing to do with the original novel (really no idea what that was about), also, a couple of minor editorial mishaps with some punctuation etc but a warm hearted story.
Worth a read but not sure I need to read the previous novels
Angelica is a good girl caught in a bad situation to save her brother and it gets out of hand. She is told to go after someone and take information from him. That someone is Jett, a handsome billionaire. They connect right away, even though Jett has been burned before. The sex is hot and there is intrigue as I was very tense reading about when Angelica meets with the bad guy, it was written really well. You are saying to yourself, no, don't do it, but she has no choice and she does do it. She doesn't realise what shes done until its too late.
This was a waste of time. The characters main and secondary were boring. The story is all over the place. And the ending could have been written by 9 year old grandchild. Then there is an epilogue that has absolutely nothing to do with the story and leaves you thinking "What the h---?". Skip this one!
A woman in a no win situation, is asked to do something, to prevent her brother from being "damaged", agrees. The assignment seems straight forward, until she meets that patsy. This is story is best read, as the writer intended. I just don't find the epilogue fitting in with the rest of the story. Hence the lose of a star.
A chance meeting in an elevator for Angela and Jett except it wasn’t a chance meeting Angela was to steal from Jett to save his brother. However she finds him intriguing and the chemistry clicked between them.Would Jett be able to see passed the chemistry he feels for her or would Angela succeed in betraying him.
This book was a easy read but I also felt like it was pretty woman with a dose of espionage. Either way I enjoyed reading it. I wouldn’t call it a love story I felt it was mostly lust although they had their moments. Worth a read.
This was a really good read! I enjoyed from the beginning to the end! I also wish that the female character was portrayed a little more stronger, but other that the development of the story was wonderful!
He had just been burned by his ex girlfriend. She was trying to save her brother. What they didn’t plan on was genuinely falling for each other. But will love won over extortion and blackmail. One of my favorite books that I have read lately.
Arc review For honest review Angelina is in a bad situation when she meets jetting and what is she suppose to do .those decisions are hard for anyone so I don't blame her very good.
Geez, what a thriller. Jett and Angelica’s story is pure thriller and leaves you waiting for the next blow every time you turn the pages. On the other hand, this book almost glows with sexual tension, so you'll be sweating either way, lol. This is another fantastic novel in this series!
She is doing good for herself until her little brother gets himself into a mess that she is lead into crime... Handsome billionaire enter here can he save her great read
I have read 2 or 3 of the "Dirty" books!! I have loved each one. They are romantic, sexy and dirty! But they have wonderful stories an they end well(also important)!! On to the next book!! ;)
This is the 4th book I have read and each one gets better and better. In Dirty Ransom, our H is Jett Brandon and our h is Angelica Chandler.
Jett Brandon is getting his head back in the game. After a nasty break up with a woman that was after him for his name and money, he has sworn off woman. He is determined to focus solely on his company and use women for sex only. Until he sees her in the elevator.
Angelica Chandler can't win for losing. She has a demanding boss and a little brother that can't stay out of trouble. Adam calls her needing help and when Angelica gets there, she is introduced to Charles. Adam owes Charles a lot of money and has decided to use Angelica in exchange for not hurting her brother.
Angelica is given a drive and told to go to Mr. Brandon's penthouse while he is moving in and insert the drive onto his computer. When she gets in the elevator a man joins her, a man going to the penthouse. He tells her they are going out on Thursday and she gets out of the elevator, without doing the job she was told to do.
Jett and Angelica spend time together and their chemistry is off the charts. Angelica is being extorted to continue getting information off of Jett's computer and take it to Charles. Her feelings for Jett are making this hard for her but its her brother's life. Things start going back for Jett and money starts getting moved around from his accounts, about the same time he met Angelica.
How is Angelica going to save Adam without losing Jett. How is Jett going to handle another woman scorning him so quickly after the last one?
This was another great book by this author. While these characters we weren't introduced to us in an earlier book, some places were the same (The Purple Swan). Angelica was a great h and she was in a horrible position between protecting either her Adam or Jett and losing the other one. I also really liked Jett as a H. I can't wait to read more from this author.
Author Amelia Wilde outdid herself with this one. As much as I have been enraptured by the other three books in Wilde’s “Dirty” series, this one is a scorcher and my favorite so far. What do I like most about this book? Chemistry – the palpable kind, the kind that melts through steel. Steam and sizzle – the kind we all wish we had, for real. Story plot is an A+, and Wilde does her usual thorough job of covering all the bases to make it flow logically and steadily, as well as to appear realistic and plausible. For those readers who seemed overly anxious about never learning why Angelica’s brother owed so much money, did it really matter? Wasn’t he simply a plot tool to frame the story’s events? The story itself was really about Angelica and Jett, and boy, that didn’t disappoint!
Angelica is a loving and loyal sister, but she’s tested beyond her wildest dreams when she comes face to face with Jett Brandon, the guy she’s supposed to set-up to steal from to spare her brother. Jett – who has had the tables turned on him by his ex, Emerald – turns out to be a pretty decent all-around guy, all things considered. He’s rather atypical compared to many “bad boy billionaires” – he’s willing to do right by both his heart and that southernmost-positioned brain to fall in love and be with Angelica – and willing to forgive her. Jett actually seemed intelligent and mature about the big picture in the end. Plain and simple, these two fell in love, and Angelica – who was stuck choosing between the two people who she loved the most – admitted doing wrong even if it meant losing Jett. Will he forgive her so they can have a HEA?
As usual, Wilde delivers a steady-paced read with steaming hot sex, sizzling chemistry, a cleverly framed plot with intriguing twists, and well-developed and likable characters. Five thumbs up!
