"A will eternal" is an online-published novel that narrates the story of self-superation and initiatic way of Bai Xiaochun, from a young villager all the way to the most powerful practitioner in the known world. The story develops at a good pace, and the reader discovers the world at the same pace as the protagonist, Bai Xiaochun. The challenges grow at the same pace as his powers increase, so that he is always close to dying but can overcome all the dangers and enemies in the end. The main character is likable in his humbleness and insecurities, and the whole development seems similar to progressing on learning martial arts, only more fantasy-like.

Probably my favourite novel of all time. Not too long (1370 chapters), great pace that has thorough plot and storyline with one of the best endings I've read in any series. But the main appeal is the humour. Genuinely have never seen the likes of a main character like Bai Xaiochun in any fantasy character ever. Some chapters were gold after gold and is one of the few novels to make me actually laugh out loud to the point of tears. Although this might not be Er Gen's best work as it is part of his earlier stuff, this is the gold standard for the genre, and I would recommend this one first to anyone looking to get into Wuxia.

There are many situations where author don't describe details clearly, very vaguely he tell names and that's fine. I only went for comedy and fun, it was very great, final book is very serious with less fun but I liked it. The story progressed to be good. I like the ending, overall my fav cultivation novel. But Not recommend for Reverend insanity effected people 😂

One of the best books i have ever read. Surprisingly extremely funny!

Superb cultivation system, amazing story and great translation combines into one of the most epic saga's i have ever read.

Definitely recommended!

My Favorite installment from Er Gen. Bai Xiaochun is a character you can't help but love. I'll never forget stealing the chickens and the undying-live-forever-technique. Only read if you have experience in xianxia novels or else this won't hit nearly as hard. Peak fiction.

It's great, it's fun, it's just the right amount of dramatic, but I wish I had a life and I wouldn't read this.

My personal favourite of Er Gen's books. The comedy added as an addition is such a breathe of fresh air compared to other Wuxia novels.
