Seeking revenge on the town’s residents for not protecting her and finding out the true identity of her abductor is the only way Savannah Rose gains any sense of justice and peace. Will she solve the mystery of her death so that she can finally transition or will her spirit stay trapped forever? Will the town of Milledgeville still exist once her mission is complete or perish before making good on the oath, taken centuries ago? As Savannah Rose unleashes her wrath, secrets of Milledgeville meant to be kept hidden forever are exposed. Total damnation lives in the woods surrounding the quiet, close-knit town. It is up to the remaining founding-family members to keep the deal made by their ancestors intact before destruction wipes them off the map.
I began writing when I was in third grade, starting with poetry. Throughout the years I explored shorts, novellas, and eventually novels. I formed a blog in 2010 to showcase my works and thoughts, and the response I received inspired me to finally finish my first book and publish. My debut novel was published July of 2012. It is called “Deadly in Stilettos” and is available on amazon, Books-A-Million, BarnesandNoble.com, as well as several other sites.
I am from the small town of Greensburg, Louisiana. There wasn’t much to do in such a small town, so writing became my scapegoat. There is nothing greater than the imagination. I am a wife and mother of two, currently residing in Hammond, Louisiana. In my spare time, I enjoy reading great books, shopping, spending time with my family and close friends, and simply living life. I love the color red, although my favorite color is purple.
I don’t have one genre I stick to when it comes to my writing. I create stories that are relatable and realistic from my imagination, mixed with a bit of real life. This helps readers get to know my characters and understand them better. I mix suspense with a bit of paranormal events in most of my stories just because it takes the story to another level. My target audience varies with each book, just to shake things up and keep my readers wondering where I will go next!

This was my first time reading a suspense-thriller. It’s really special to me because it was created from a beautiful African American woman mind. I met her during the BWABC in Memphis. There were tons of Authors but her book was reaching out to me. Maybe it was the spirits in the book saying Flenardo “READ ME” I purchased a copy and my thoughts were DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! This storyline was beautiful and I couldn’t put it down. Everyone believes in spirits or ghosts. I fell in love with Savannah Rose, shed tears from reading her past, and rooted while she plotted her revenge. When I thought I knew where the book was going. I’ll flip a page and be like WTF! I didn’t see that coming. This book was better than any suspense thriller I have seen in a movie. I believe in this author and she is twisted and that’s a beautiful thing. I won’t ruin the story for you all but this book need to be in your hands right now. I promised you will love it.
If you frighten easily, don't read this book at night! The small town of Milledgeville has a horrible secret. In a town living in a twisted web of deceit and a dangerous threat from the dead, the residents somehow must learn how to survive, even if the answer to their problems cause more problems and heartache. As I read the story (which was difficult to put down), there was no way I could guess the outcome or predict the tangled relationships that continued to surprise. This is definitely a page turner; it kept me guessing until the end. There was nothing predictable about it, for which I was thankful. Prepare to be frightened, joyful, horrified, happy, sad, angry... this story has it all. Must read!
Suspense/mystery is a different genre for me. However a new year so I'm trying something new. The author has a great imagination there was enough intrigue to keep you reading to see where the story was headed. Being from a small town (the same hometown as the author) I can relate to small town rhetoric, everyone knowing everyone and when something goes on everybody knows whether it is factual information or not. She was able to drop a bit of humor throughout the story to keep one interested even though the story was about deep dark secrets that would eventually come to light.
