Awweeeee

Imani was a young damage girl n ever given the love she need to grow up and live life ,on life terms.... Hard childhood was a change of factor in her life she was never given the chance to love will be loved the people who she did Trust which wasn't anyone turn out to have their own satisfactions in the midst ....She learned to exploit herself and I believe she did the most damage to itself because even growing with love and without it we learn right from wrong we learn a sense of being soul when she met Dave and I love her that he had which was genuine I do believe she could have changed a life he's given her love but yet she was looking for the wrong satisfaction that's how she got in bed with the man that eventually led her to her demise this was a tough read for me because I didn't feel sorry for her or her childhood she wasn't responsible for end I'm sure KARMA got "the folks that was responsible ventually.. But she could tell her to live a life that way it was on the first track to nowhere and would love Polydek come into her life she did not have to excepted she did not have to milling it will grow from it let me tell you something life is what you make it so I know growing up as a part of who you become but one day you got to give yourself a break and try to change that break that cycle she never was given that chance nor did she give herself that chance or the date came into her life and did not mama Rose make sure she saw exactly what I said did I can't fulfill that but I'll bet I can say is rest in peace to both of them but the brother knew who she was and had she told the truth then this wouldn't have happened had she given to love then cause he loved unconditionally cause he excepts all the fluids yet even after this tragedy AIDS kills unprotected sex kills multiple partners come on promiscuous behavior come on the Olies to something I'm sorry that it leads to that but this was outstanding is kind of sad to me and I'm not even going to the people involved in this cause mainly this is about a money and God bless her and Dave I believe he shit and I had to go through this but you know what she did it to herself who knows what happened to KOF believe they got him to but he deserved it because you know what she took him down that path also so here we are grab a copy this is very important issue that we have in life today face it people don't come back from this this disease is deadly

Wow

This was a great book. The story flowed and even gave information on how Imani became the person she was. She had a hard life growing up. A mother who was more focused on what she wanted and a father who wasn't in the picture. What she endured as a child will make you feel bad. I thought her meeting Bob would have been a blessing and in some ways it was because he helped her, but I also believe he used her. Dave was a good guy, but his mama and older brother sheltered him so much that he was naive when it came to women. He was blinded by beauty when it came to Imani. If she had some real guidance she wouldn't have been so bad. Mama Rose didn't play about her money or boys. She saw something in Imani, but it seemed to be a bit to late. Imani had already been through so much I don't think she could have changed much more then she did. Dave showed her some new things and caused her to feel things she never had which ended up making her curious. That curiosity ended up being the biggest downfall in her life. This story definitely had some lessons in it. Great Job Ashley.

Imani, truly tooked me on a emotional rollercoaster ride. The storyline in this book at first threw me off, but then once I got the hang of thinfs I was captivated. Imani, is a woman who dealt with a lot of physical and mental damage in her childhood. In a weird way because of what she went through back then caused her to be the person she was that day. Dave, is a young intelligent individual who's got something going for himself yet he finds himself intrigued by Imani and things take a turn for him since then. Its bizarre how the one person who made changes, and loved someone is that same person they hurt the most. This book enlighten people on a few sensitive subjects, as well as touched based on with could happen if you don't slow your roll. This is a good read!

A real rollercoaster ride

This was a real rollercoaster of a read. Imani had a very troubled childhood. Those flashbacks really had me in my feelings. She was harboring a lot of secrets, and of course, they eventually got revealed. Dave really loved her and thought that he knew her, but boy was he mistaken. I felt so bad for him. The ending was so tragic, and really threw me for a loop. Why did it have to end that way? This book is must read.

This was a good read!. Dang Imani. This child went through a lot. Some of the things she did was scandalous and her ways caught up to her. Dave really love her bc he didn't care who had something to say about her. And Ceaser.. That was sooo unexpected. K.O old dirty a@@... wow.... I wonder did Mama rose help push this girl to her..... Read the story!!! #UIP

Imani

Sometimes I felt bad for Imani and then again I felt sometimes she got what she deserved. Not once did she try to better her self. Dave did not deserve what she did to him. He was so innocent in it all. This book had some editorial issues but really didn't hinder you from reading it.

I'm speechless I can't believe the way that story played out not what I was expecting . Imani was just a lost soul that ended up burning at the end and she took Dave with her so sad . Great standalone definately worth the read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow

This book really touched me like I felt so bad for Imani but keeping that secret was crazy. Dave was so sheltered his family made him so naive and in the end that cost him his life, his book was very emotional but I liked it

Great Read!!

Great Read from the beginning to the end. Imani had a hard life. Dave loved her so much. I hate that Imani kept so many secrets from Dave. She should have just been honest. And he ended up dying. Mama Ross kept her promise. Karma caught up with Imani.
