B.D. Snowden is a Texas native living in the great plains with her children of both two legged and four legged varieties. She is a voracious reader whose book habit literally brought a small town library to life. One day when she was unable to get something new to read she started turning the stories floating through her head into concrete concepts on paper.
I wasn’t a fan of the first book in this series, but I did download all 3 books to begin with so I decided to stick it out. I will say the series does get better as it progresses. I can see this series having a lot of triggers for other reader. This world was not a women friendly place. Still, this series was available as a kindleunlimited and I'm glad I didn’t give up after the first book. It was never what I would consider a great read, but I think this writer has potential and I'll check out more of their work.
This story is even better than the first two. Akia is located and the brothers brief ly reunited however Akia chooses to stay with his mate and sends his brother home. I suggest that you read the serries starting with book one even though you could read the book as a standalone however you will have a better understanding of the Tanis and what they are trying to do
Loved this story. Once again B. D. Snowden gives us a great couple with wonderful supporting characters and the world building is outstanding. I highly recommend this series.
If you've read the prior 2 books in this series, then you will appreciate the switch in gender of the one that endures. Yes, Vukasin is still dark and cruel. Read at your own risk.
