April 22, 2024I'D READ THE BOOK & LISTENED TO THE AUDIOBOOK A LONGTIME AGO & FOUND IT TO BE UNWORTHY OF ANYONE OVER THE AGE OF 19 Y.O.'S TIME & ENERGY.
The character is fresh outta jail, written to have a sexy attorney who'd risk it all/her entire career that she'd work ed hard for to get involved with an ex-con, who's still hung up & stringing along his daughter's mama, angry with THE ONLY WOMAN (THE MATERNAL GRANDMOTHER) WHO HAS BEEN THERE FOR HIS DAUGHTER (OTHER THAN THE GIRL'S MAMA, THAT IS) WHILE HE WAS ON AN ALL-EXPENSES-PAID-VACAY-COURTESY -OF-THE-FEDERAL PRISON SYSTEM/GOVERNMENT, then HAS THE AUDACITY TO BRING THE ATTORNEY CHICK WHO HE'S SCREWING INTO THE CRIB OF THE WOMAN HE CLAIMS TO LOVE & STILL WANT AS HE VISITS HIS TEEN DAUGHTER-WHO SO DESPERATELY NEEDED A FATHER IN HER LIFE THAT SHE GOTTEN WRAPPED UP WITH SOME HOOD DUDES WHO'D DID HER COMPLETELY DIRTY (& VIDEO TAPED IT!), WHILE HE'S HIDING THE FACT THAT HE'D KNOCKED UP HIS GHETTO ATTORNEY (WHO NEEDS MORE OUTTA LIFE THAN TO DO UPWARDS OF 7 YEARS IN COLLEGE ONLY TO ALLOW HERSELF TO BE THE SECOND PLACE CHICK IN AN EX-CON'S LIFE-JS!!!!!) FROM THE WOMAN HE CLAIMS TO LOVE & WANNA BE WITH, RESULTING IN BOTH OF THEM BEING IN TEARS AFTER HIS BABY MAMA FINDS OUT ABOUT THE SON HE HAS ON THE WAY!
I mean.......... THIS STORY IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO UNBELIEVABLY UNREAL THAT IT'S LAUGHABLE! The author HAD TO HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY UH YOUNG when it was thought up & put in the works
