A murder mystery and a handful of celebrity guest stars! The layout, the dialogue, the small bits and pieces that you can so easily miss and will continue to find more of with each read through... This book. So good.

10 Thoughts I Had While Reading Mockingbird #7

1. I really wouldn't want to be on this cruise even if I did get to hang out with Bobbi. I am terrified of boats, and this cruise seems especially sketchy.

2. Lance Hunter is an adorable British ray of sunshine who should be protected at all costs. Also, why is he on this cruise? Who sent him?

3. Of course Bobbi is the lead detective, Hunter. Don't question it; just obey her orders.

4. Bobbi sure drinks a lot of wine on this cruise. She and my mom should hang out and gossip. Actually, I'd like to get in on that too.

5. I want a story about the Webbers. I don't know why, but I love the fact that Angela encourages Aubrey's dressing as banana.

6. Lance Hunter fails at deputing. He should go back to his corgis.

7. Oh, Chelsea and Kate, you're clever. Kate looks great in comic form!

8. I really adore the Hunter/Dale brotp, and I don't know why. I just want them chilling out and dissing Hawkeye.

9. Well, I did not expect THAT plot twist. Well played, Ms. Cain.

10. I can't wait for Mockingbird #8! I want to see what will happen in the next one.

Oh so awesome, I am devastated that I have nearly reached the end of this quirkily crazy ride. Bobbi, Hunter and Ka-Zar are hella fun to go on a cruise with.
