Chris Brady is an Inc. Magazine Top 50 Leadership Guru, a much demanded speaker (he is really funny, insightful, and able to make complex subjects clear), and blogger. He is also the CEO of Life!

In this book he provides short biographies of leaders and companies that have defied expectations. His focus is, "How did they know to do what they did?" Starting with the story of the development of the Toyota Prius, and moving through the story of the band Kiss, Jeff Bezos and the Kindle, and one of my favorites, the designer of both the Mustang and the Minivan, Hal Sperlich.

Each story focuses on the Mindset that allowed the "hero" to fight through the criticism and red tape to create something that shouldn't have worked. Each biography is a little treasure of insight and Brady provides bullet-points to make the message clear.

Truly a great little book for anyone in leadership, or who just likes some really interesting short stories! Also check out some of his talks on Youtube, or on my Facebook page, C S Avery - Life Leadership.

Top of the line.

The 11 'memos' are each beyond useful for deconstructing what true, organic, servant centric leadership really is.

Definitely a must for your library.

This book is absolutely fabulous. Chris Brady and his team take examples of people who went against the grain to achieve success beyond what anyone else could've expected.

Some of the people, such as Elon Musk, you're probably familiar with, but others you won't be.

The book is half story format and half principals. The story is told of each individual and then ends with several key leadership points.

I highly recommend this book. It's not available in book stores, but, if you're interested, message me and I'll hook you up.
