Dear Listener, I knew from the first chapter of book one in the Sapphire Falls series that Hailey Conner was going to have a story. And I knew, as soon as I typed the words Tyler Bennett is such an ass, that it would be with Tyler Bennett! Over the next five books and two novellas, their story developed, and I realized that it was just as big as these two personalities.
Before I typed one word of Getting Over It, their current-day love story, I knew that there was more about their story that listeners would want to know, and I planned to write this novella about how it all started.
All of this happens before you see them love, fight, laugh, cry, and finally figure it out in Getting Over It. Even though I knew all of this happened in the past, I wrote the book first. And when it was all said and done, I realized that hearing about their now and their future would make people even more curious about their past. So technically, Getting to Her comes before Getting Over It, but it can definitely also be listened to after. Either way, I think you'll agree that these two have worked hard to get to their happily ever after. One of the best surprises in life, in my opinion, is finding out there's more to the story.

If you've read any of the Sapphire Falls series, you'll have encountered Hailey and Ty with their chemistry and snarky banter that has always indicated that something special was awaiting these two. In this sexy novella, a prequel to the upcoming story Getting Over It, we get to see a bit of the history of this couple as they go from high school and their initial attraction to the relationship they will eventually develop as adults. What I really enjoyed about this novella was seeing how single minded Ty has been in his belief that he and Hailey will have a future together, no matter how Hailey has reacted to him in his past, nor the fact that they'll both have to end up in other relationships before they'll be ready to be together. His confidence in his feelings for Hailey and knowledge and understanding that he'll have to be patient with her was very heartening. Getting a glimpse into Hailey's family life, her self esteem issues and her drive to do something meaningful in her life goes a long way towards making her hard edges a bit softer. There are some pretty steamy scenes too, as we find out that while Hailey and Ty might have been keeping up appearances of being firmly uninvolved, it's just a facade for what's happening behind the scenes. As well, we get to see some of the scenes of other books from a different viewpoint, and it's always fun to revisit favourite characters. There is no happy ever after yet in this story, but no worries, it's coming soon! Looking forward to seeing Hailey finally admit that Ty is the one for her. 5 stars for a super fun and sexy read.

What a wonderful surprise! Ty and Hailey are a super hot couple and I was so excited to get this BONUS leading up to Getting Over It. Erin Nicholas truly spoils her fans. And she knows how to write a story from two different POVs. Those of you familiar with the series will understand when you read this. :)
This novella gives you a glimpse of four different time periods in the build up to Ty and Hailey's relationship that all lead up to Getting Over It (Sapphire Falls, book 6). I believe that you could read this before or after Getting Over It and enjoy it either way.

Getting To Her is the ULTIMATE of all bonuses! I promise!! Seriously. I’ve been wanting to know Ty and Hailey’s story since I picked up Book 1 in the Sapphire Falls series and Erin made it happen! By reading this, we now know how it all began. I loved getting a glimpse into their high school lives. And then their reunion. It was a flashback that left me wanting more! Good thing this is the BONUS (prequel) to Getting Over It!
Ty Bennett has always wanted Hailey Conner. For as long as he can remember she was the ultimate. The gold medal. The top of the podium. He was going to have her. Hailey Conner was the “it” girl. All the guys wanted her and all the girls were jealous of her. She had it all. Or so everyone thought.
Even in high school, these two were explosive. Their attraction and pull to one another was unlike any other.
Ty is so arrogant. Even has a teenager. He is sexy, cocky, full of himself and SO thoughtful,sweet and just awesome! Such a strange combination but it SO works. Hailey is gorgeous. And perfect, snooty, better than everyone……or at least that’s what she tries to be. Seeing Hailey in a different light was my very favorite part of this experience!
Whether you read Getting To Her before or after Getting Over It (honestly doesn't matter either way), you’re going to get a glimpse into the life of a couple that has been steaming up the pages of every other Sapphire Falls book with insane sexual chemistry. Loved this! GETTING TO HER gives history of the how the relationship between Ty Bennett and Hailey Conner developed. And goodness I have to say how much I wish I'd had a man worship me as the ultimate prize the way Ty recognized Hailey to be from tender age of 15. And I admire Hailey for getting it. For appreciating his feelings for her and for not manipulating him, or toying with him. For treasuring the way he made her feel.
For someone like me who has read and loved all the Sapphire Falls books, Getting to Her was an absolute treat. Not just because of the insight it provides on Ty and Hailey, but for the trip back down memory lane of scenes from the other books shown from this new perspective. However, it could just as easily be enjoyed all on its own. A delicious tease that will leave a Sapphire Falls newbie wanting to get to know these delightful characters more and those, like me who have been in love with the residents of Sapphire Falls from the very first book, a strong desire to start over from the beginning. It's just that good. Don't miss out on this one! 5 stars!

Ty and Hailey are so hot together. Where it all began.
I loved this short novella. I am so glad that we got this before the full length book. This tells all about these two's history. I love this series , this town, these people, and this author.
This is the beginning of the story for these two. This starts back in high school when they first met. Hailey is the head of everything, just the way she likes it. She likes to be on charge and the center of it all.
Ty is the daredevil, the seeker of action,and likes to be a winner in everything, especially#1 (gold). He likes the thrill and Chase of women, especially Hailey.
This was such an awesome book. Can't wait for the full length one to finish their story. Can't wait for what next with this town.

All through the Sapphire Falls series we've seen glimpses of Hailey and Ty and how they thrive on needling each other, but we never got to see the reason why. Well, here's the hidden back story starting when they were in HS, and it's great! This bonus companion novella to their story (Getting Over It, book #6, 8-25-15) can be read before or after. It really makes me eager to read their book now!

Great Surprise!
Like anyone who has read the Sapphire Falls books, we've all noticed the constant aggravation that Ty Bennett causes Mayor Hailey Conner. Who you they were hiding a secret that had started back in high school? This was such a great surprise novella from Erin Nicholas, giving us a bit on their background, before their book Getting Over It comes out. I loved it!!!

LOVED this! It was fantastic getting the back story on Ty and Hailey before their book comes out. Having it written in dual POV's really helps you understand where each is coming from. This is a quick sexy fun read that you don't have to read but I would definitely recommend it!

What a great story behind Ty and Hailey's relationship that started back as teenagers. I was exciting to see how they matured. A quick fun sexy read to tide you over until the release of Getting Over It.

Prequel Review for the prequel
So this is a prequel review that only a true book lover will understand. Because I’m 28% into this novella and I’m fighting with myself to finish it. Oh, I mean that as a total compliment. It’s so flippin’ perfect that I don’t want it to end. Because finishing it means two things: (1) I’ll yearn even more for the next book, the grand finale, the series ender. And we’re still two weeks away, blast it. (2) I’ll be that much closer to the end of the main series. And that’s just heartbreaking.
Up to this point it’s a 5 star read. Every word, every expression only enhances the characters and the story. It’s everything you thought it would be yet so much more. The words simply flow, so I imagine they just poured out of the writer and danced onto the page. If the prequel is this good, the finale is sure to be epic, right?
I can already tell that the author is going to make me cheat on my favorite character and replace her with this heroine. I hate that as much as I love it. It’s to the author’s credit that she can create such fully-developed, loveable characters who you wish were real people you could befriend.
Maybe I’ll finish this now. Then again, maybe I’ll save it and the series finale until I’m ready to say farewell. I’m nowhere near ready right now. It’s hard to explain, yet for true book lovers no explanation is necessary, because they GET it. For those who haven’t read this series, do so now and you’ll get it too.

I love when you are reading a story about two people who have a history together and the author gives you the story of how that history came to be. Hailey and Ty are no exception to this and Getting to Her is the novella to their past that leads up to the upcoming release of their book in the Sapphire Falls series. I just really love this series (may it never end)! I knew from reading book 1 that these two should have their own stories, I just didn't realize it would be the same one. But these two have a connection and it really comes through in the novella and the upcoming book. I have both books and actually did read the novella after reading book 6. You can read it before or after, but it doesn't really work on it's own. Fans of Erin Nicholas and the Sapphire Falls series will love this glimpse before book 6 comes out shortly.

Oh wow! This novella was not how I expected Ty and Hailey to start out or end up. But it was so good and better than my imagination. I have been wanting their story since they both appeared in the series in book one. They have that sharp witty snappy banter playing back and forth. All that sexual frustration between them. However, this novella showed their true connection, a deep underlying strong bond that has withstood quite a bit of time. I thoroughly enjoyed their beginning to their journey and cannot freaking wait to get to the meat and potatoes of them! Giddiness and anticipation running through my veins waiting for Getting Over It.

I love this series so much and this sneak peek at Hailey and Ty was awesome! I would not recommend this as a standalone book but more as a companion to the series especially Getting Over It, Hailey and Ty's full story. Hailey and Ty have been shooting sparks off each other since the very beginning and this is a fun look back at how that all started. Included are some scenes from earlier books but told from Hailey and Ty's perspectives. These two have amazing chemistry and I for one can't wait to see Ty break through Hailey's walls and get to the woman she keeps hidden. On to Getting Over It!!!

Really, Seriously! I missed all the signs in the previous books. I know this is a novella and there is more to come and all I have to do is click to the next book but I did not want this one to end, and yes I know the next one is their story as well. I always thought Travis was my favorite and then of course Tucker tugged at my heartstrings and felt so bad for TJ but TY oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it possible to have 4 favorites! Thank god there are only 4 of them my heart could not take more...................I love Hailey In this book and there are some great cues that helps to understand her better.

I loved this novella which covers the start to Ty and Hailey's romance. I loved reading about a boy who knew the woman who would be his perfect woman from the time he was a sophomore in high school. I don't know that many guys can say that! I also loved the insight into what was behind Hailey's ice princess reputation. I always knew there was so much more to her, and her storyline did not disappoint. I also loved seeing so many things that took place in other books from a different perspective. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone!

Things sizzle when they're together and no matter how in control Hailey is in her life as Mayor in Sapphire Falls, Ty quickly takes over once he gets her on his turf. See the ins and outs of how their relationship takes shape and then look for 'Getting Over It' to see how it all plays out!

This is a novella that shows Hailey and Ty in high school when the sparks begin. Their full story is in the novel Getting Over it. This novella can be read before or after Getting over It. I personally enjoyed reading it after I finished Getting Over It because I liked to learn about them as adults first more mystery that way as to how it all started. I love that Erin Nicholas gave us this flash back! It really shows that Hailey and Ty are meant to be!

One of the best novellas I've read to date, for a series. Seriously. I'm no stranger to Erin Nicholas and the worlds she creates. And I definitely have my favorite characters from her other series, ahem...... I think that maybe I have a new favorite Hero and Heroine. Love this story about Ty and Hailey, and their beginning. I'm a sucker for young love, and this story does not disappoint!

I so cannot wait for the fire works
This was an awesome prequel. I am so fired up now. Hailey doesn't want to tell Ty all her secrets. Now that he has moved to Sapphire Falls the sparks are really going to fly. I loved learning about their history. Now understand the scenes in the other books.

Holy Hotness!!!! This book is smoking hot. Getting to Her let's the reader in on the history of Hailey Connor and Ty Bennett. You can easily read it prior to Getting Over It or you can wait until the book is done and read on how they got started. Hailey and Ty have some amazing HEAT. Can't wait to read Getting Over It!!! I think they might become my favorite Sapphire Falls couple.

I have loved Hailey since the first time I met her in book one of this series! In this Novella we get to see how Ty and Hailey first met and read about different periods in their lives. It is a great read and a perfect story to get you ready for Erin's newest release on the 25th, when we finally get to see the sparks really fly between Hailey and Ty.

An awesome treat for the Sapphire Falls readers. Not only do you get to read Hailey and Ty's HEA very soon. But you get this sneak peek at how it all got started (it'll tide you over, I promise). It's a fun sexy romp from beginning to end. It leave you breathing heavy and wishing Aug. 25th would get her a little sooner.

This was an awesome background history of Ty and Hailey's relationship. The ups and downs over the past 11 years was fun and crazy. The way they kept their relationship a secret. It will be interesting to see what happens once th e y are both full time in Sapphire Falls. Can't wait for the next book. Another awesome book by Erin Nicholas.

Erin Nicholas is one of my favorite go to authors. She always writes an amazing story. This novella was no different. A must read! I loved getting the background on Ty and Hailey. I am looking forward to Getting it All!

Erin Nicholas has once again captured the mood of Sapphire Falls in Getting to Her, a Novella in the Sapphire Falls Series and the beginning of Ty and Hailey's "friendship". If you are familiar with the Sapphire Falls Series, you will be very familiar with Hailey Conner, the Mayor of Sapphire Falls. Hailey is a woman who is always in control and makes it her business to know everything that happens in Sapphire Falls. Ty Bennett is the one man who set his sights on her long ago and likes to rustle her feathers and keep her on her toes. Ever since high school Ty Bennett has wanted to be with Hailey Conner. Ty is determined to prove to her that they are made for each other. Hailey will get to set the ground rules, but rules are made to be broken. Ty is a man that will take her on whatever terms she sets and will also set a few terms of his own. I really enjoyed this novella and feel that it is a great introduction into Ty and Hailey's relationship. This Novella is a great addition to the Sapphire Falls Series and I definitely recommend it.
