Part one of From the Pole to the Palace left off with Jameeka wanting her now ex-husband, Seth Roberts, and his new girlfriend dead. As the days go by, Jameeka realizes that Levi isn’t the man she thought him be, but it’s too late because she’d already done the unthinkable, and Seth would never get back with her in a million years.
Now that Seth and Dreka finally are in a committed relationship, is it enough for her to leave the pole alone and finally settle down in the palace where she belongs? Dreka promised herself that once she let those three words, I love you come out of her mouth, that she would hang up her dancing shoes, but is that true? In addition to everyday relationship problems, she is now faced with deep, dark secrets that she thought she had left behind in her past, but she now has to bring those secrets to light.
This second installment is filled with drama, laughter, and secrets. Some will make it out in the end, but others won’t.

Mannnnnn Diamond what are you doing to me I swear each book you write gets better and better. I swear I hate everything about Levi and it's sad that he's even considered a human being. I swear if Jameeka's dumb ass know better she'll do better. I love the fact that Diamond brought Dre in from 305 Lovin, I wonder what he's going to do to her since she trying to be a ride or die for that sorry piece of shit. I hope that nobody was seriously injured from the shooting but only time will tell so I'm dying to see what part 3 will bring. Excellent work Ms.Johnson

Good Follow Up
Dreka made it to the palace, but still had demons that got exposed. I still can't stand Levi hopefully karma will catch up to him. I felt bad for Jameeka, but she brought everything on herself. The ending was crazy, can't wait for part 3.

This book was everything. I love Seth and Derka relationship. I swear I can't stand Levi and I hope he get delt with. In a way I feel bad for Jameka and hope she realize that karma is something else I can't wait for part 3.

Just Okay
Like the story but it drags. It's like once it's out there, we get it, let it flow. It was pretty much predictable except the issue with Coco and her son. Now I'm wondering why did it end here because with Levi out the picture, what else is there? Nobody really cares about Jameeka, she was foul and gets what she gets. But now I have to see it through. I hope something unexpected happens.

Jameeka is just a simple minded dumb chick. I do not feel sorry for how Levi is treating her. She brought that upon herself. She thinks she's been loyal when in fact. It is stupidity. Levi is a broke down bum. He doesn't care about anybody but himself. Karma will be visiting him soon. He's done too much. Dreka has found out a secret about her father from her bestfriend. She also suppressed her own memories but soon she finds out the truth about who her father really was. Seth has stepped up when it came to Dreka and Charisma. However he doesn't know that he has a known and unknown enemy plotting. He ends up coming face to face with one. Which left me ready to read part three since it ended as a cliffhanger.

Levi is one money fool. It's sad how he would say all that stuff to his daughter which will result in her being traumatized from the situation. I feel sorry for Jameeka because I would have gave Levi ass up. Levi may love her but he seems to worry too much about robbing people and now look what happened her ass may lose her life due to her actions. I hope nobody was hurt especially Charisma that would very sad to hear that she lost her life because of her no good sperm donor. He does not get the dad title due to he ain't worthy of it.

Great book
This story just keeps getting better and better. I’m glad everything is working out for Dreka and Seth. Seth has some true friends and family for real. I love how involved Seth is with his brothers trying to give them a better life. Charmisa is such a great little girl. Levi needs to die because he is so selfish for the things that he has done. Jameeka is just retarded being with Levi.

I put off reading this series but when I tell you it was good. Levi was a slime ball and Jameeka was just a dummy. Seth was that deal though 😍. Charisma was by far the cutest child I have read about. To know your daddy don’t want you and how she communicated with Seth, I was touched 😥

All I can say is this is such a good love story with a few twist and turns. I was hoping Levi will decide to become a better man, but he's truly a stubborn and not so smart man I see. The ended gave me a heart attack I can figure out what happened being that I read a another book and the character spoke about Seth. But I still have to hurry up to book 3.
I don’t understand why Seth pressed Dreka about her being molested as a child that was weird. He’s so controlling I don’t like him at all.

4.5 ⭐️ Ngl this book stressed me out. Even Seth stressing me out. The baby charisma just going through it, but I just don’t understand why she keep going with her no good ass daddy. Why are they not having talks with her to prepare her for his pop ups. Why is his name even still on the pick up list at her school?! They pmo. Part 2 did not disappoint. Jamica is an idiot and Levi is DIRRRRRTTTYYYY! I like the relationship between Seth and Dreka and the flawed love they share.
