I saw him sitting at a corner of the bar. He had these penetrating gray eyes that were just so intriguing. I walked over and made small talk, aware that he was looking at my ass, my thighs. He was a leg man. I could work with that. But then he mentioned a wife and I was off that stool faster than he could say wedding ring.
He found me a few minutes later, whispering about his dead wife and I was just drunk enough to find it romantic. One night. That’s all it was supposed to be. But then my job at Gray Wolf Security had me interviewing for a nanny position and there were penetrating gray eyes on the other side of the desk.
With the memory of a night like that, how was I supposed to keep my hands to myself?
Every book in this series draws you in a little bit more each time. The characters are real and flawed but ultimately a family. Looking forward to reading the next book.
She did it again...hook, line and sinker. In the story she gets you right off the bat with a forbidden love affair that turns into something much more. Knox had so many bad memories that she just couldn't deal with and then in comes Dunlap the knight in shinning armour. Throughout the story the is so many twists and turns you are always guessing but in the end happiness prevails. I am looking forward to the next one in this series. I have a feeling it will be just as good as all the rest. Continue the fabulous work Gleena. 5 stars all the way.
This story will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. The author has a really great mind and I really enjoyed reading this book. Will definitely check out other books from this author!!!!!
I don't like the title, but the story wasn't that bad. Again, I feel like the story was similar to Joss' story from the first series, but in a way I feel like Knox was a stronger character despite her problems and vices. Despite Knox relationship being very similar to that of Joss, the plot it's different, not giving us the same script that with the others.
Knox has a past that has shaped how she views relationships. When she is assigned a case that happens to put her in contact with a former one night stand, the man who she still thinks about, her world changes. As the drama unfolds her values and way of thinking are shifted and she doesn't know what to do about that or her growing feelings for a man she isn't supposed to want.
Loved Knox's story. Dunlap is the perfect male for her. Taming Knox has alittle of everything mystery, suspense, love and sexy time between the sheets. This story was about learning to forgive, heal the wounds from the past but it was also about second chances. This Is the Third book in GWS Texas and it's good. We finally get a glimpse of the mysterious Kipling and I can't wait for his story.
Two damaged single people start with a one-night-stand that turns into more when they are thrown together with some death threats. Knox and Dunlop have chemistry and their relationship makes sense, but the death threats were too crazy. There was plenty of plot dealing with Dunlop's children, the death of his first wife and all the family drama without adding the death threats. 150ish pages and kindle freebie 2 stars
So much sadness and hurt but still Knox and Dunlap get their HEA. A really suspenseful story. The reader gets a chance to see what the other operatives are doing in GWS2. A good story line and plot that holds the reader's interest.
I read this book in a few hours and I loved it, best one of the series so far. I love how Glenna keeps bringing in new story lines by incorporating the people we have gotten to know from her other series. I can't wait for the next book to come. Definitely a must read.
Knox and Dunlop a combustible duo, just perfect for each other. Knox as a GWS2 operative was hired to be a nanny and spy on Dunlop. It turns out that things are not what they seem. Great story.
Beware: this can NOT be read as a stand alone. I hadn't read any previous books in this series, and I was so confused about a lot of what was happening. But also, it is riddled with plot holes and the characters are underdeveloped. Disappointing read.
It was good but not as good as the others. The mystery was there, but some things were wrapped up too quickly and the ending fell a little flat for me.
